Those sneakers look like Kramer's from Seinfeld. In 1989 my brother was going to junk his 10 year old Monte Carlo because it didn't run. I towed it to my friend's shop, and over the next 3 months I rebuilt the engine. I'm still driving it.

Bloody hell, there is some good loot. Thomas trains and accessories cost a fortune, as for the Dyson vacuum that is several hundred dollars. I think most lucrative dumpster dive would be on college/universities at end of semester, teenagers can't be bothered carrying crap home.

My brother used to dumpster dive around a university and always found all kinds of great stuff.

Universities are the place to go for some great dumpster finds.

Having worked at Walgreens and CVS, all that food is more likely expired. When we processed it in our scanners, our instructions are to throw them away. Wasteful, but we have no other option.

If you don’t like something, give it to a resale shop. Let someone else use it. Tossing things out is so wasteful. And we’re trying to save the planet. 🌎 1:36 agreed. Waste waste waste!!! Donate to a shelter if you can’t sell the food items. And they charge customers a fortune in the store when we’re buying!

The stuff thrown away behind the CVS: I can only imagine the Chinese factories producing our Christmas decorations, and the young children they may employ for several cents per hour who produce these plastic things so we may purchase them on the cheap. All of this WASTE represents unnecessary things which humans are adding to our environment which are despoiling our natural world.

I totally agree! And plastics dumping into the ocean.
