Yup! The sage revive trick you do on yourself in custom games is how i trained my aim in the maps (like peeking, wide peek, etc.) Its really useful if you don't have friends to help you train with 😊

The critique at 1:00 seems a bit strange to include, as this type of modeling is directly used to optimized scenes and levels within games, there is no reason to model additional which can't be seen by the player without clipping. it's also very common to use flat plain images in backdrops, once you reach a certain distance you are unable to make out enough details in models, for this reasons it's far more efficient to just use a single image plain instead of rendering hundreds of more tri's into the into the scene.

About sova gaining a jump boost on his ultimate, on the last shot of his ult he gets a knockback, basically meaning on your last shot of hunters fury, aim down and jump at the same time, the knockback allows you to get on top of a double stack box.

At 1:02 scene, everyone uses that technique to decorate stuff. They do that on purpose, because if we had tons of textures and physics for the maps, the game would have more problems on low-end devices. And, yeah the grass textures are called quad (if i am not wrong) textures. You can see them forward, but not backwards.

1:12, there's a gap in the rock because it's not visible geometry, it's a common rule in the game industry to save geometry/topology wherever we can, so for instance, floating geometry and gaps and also the flat foliage you're talking about is called vista foliage, it's basically stuff to dress a scene and make it look like there's an outside area... not for extra stuff later...

In regards to map design, the reason there are uncompleted parts on the map is because of such a thing called Poly Count. Every asset in game has an active poly count, and the more assets on map, the more difficult it is to load and have consistent frames. So the rule in game development is, if you cant see it, its finished.

In the map split you can use ghost to fly to the highway close to B site, you can also disable ghost there and walk normally since there's no death barrier there. (the last time I got there atleast.)

sage can cover the spike as long as it doesn't cover the spike itself. (i use this strat when someone or I plant in a corner) viper's ult doesnt end as long as she's in it. viper's ult doesn't actually kill u, it damages u until ur 1 hp.

Sova's ultimate when jumping is a little weird The first two shots slow his fall tremendously, but his third shot pushes him backwards, which is used for creating a higher jump if you aim downwards
