Clarifying stuff about the Sol-664 figure: It's true that it is being released as part of the Robot Damashii line, but 30MM (30 Minute Missions) is a seperate line of highly customizable model kits which Bandai has announced they will release AC6 kits for. I.E. The Sol-664 figure is an action figure, that's gonna be built and painted straight out of the box. The 30MM kits are probably gonna be modular Armored Core figures that you can build and customize yourself.

A word of warning for those who want to buy the sol-664 figure, the robot damashii line is not doing good lately on quality control (some of them also has questionable design). Mainly the line's recent release of the main protagonist Gundam Ariel and Gundam Ariel Rebuild, the Gundams model kits are superior in both quality and design. I suggest to see some reviews of the line's other product before deciding to order them. The 30MM model kits line though is very solid, also being in the same line they will undoubtedly use the same connector and joints as the the rest of the 30MM product so you can mix and match them even if they are not from the AC6 line.

@@pharaohmonkey1616I can help because that happened to me as well! In actuality, the last combat log is in the third to last mission, not second to last. So if you’re like me you probably did the second to last mission before realizing there was an unobtained combat log in the previous one, and if you’re like me, were surprised to find out that way that the next mission was the final one!

To clarify the bit about Patches and Walter, the version of Patches that appears in Armored Core: For Answer wasn't voiced by William Vanderpuye, like his later iterations, instead he and Walter are both voiced by Patrick Seitz. Although localization wrote his name as "Patch" in For Answer, the kanji is the same in Japanese, so even if a few details are a little different, the intention is probably the same.

Another interesting detail usually overlooked is just how many dead Tetrapods there are from Balam's attack on the Wall. Volta took at least six down before the artillery chipped him to death, he went down swinging. Almost as impressive as Walter and Carla slaying eight of the twelve ACs that Allmind sends after them before she sucker punches them.

AC revisits themes. When Allmind calls you and I. irregulars, that goes back to previous games. When it states you're too powerful and are thus a threat, that is a nod to Nineball Seraph. The IBIS Series is a nod to the IBIs AI in Silent Line, which tries to kill you with an oversized AC modeled after NB Seraph. These are nods to old fans over the years.

Just a correction, but Ortus isn't an arquebus designed AC, but rather Elcano. Seeing as how Elcano is referenced to have collaborated with BAWS on multiple parts it's likely another Rubicon based corporation that designed Ortus as a special request from the RLF.

They also collaborated with furlong. There's a log mentioning how other minor corps want to be mutual and not pick a side, like Melanite and takigawa. I personally would love to see more Ac squads. They could be from the other corps, off-world reinforcements for balam and arqubeus, other mercs who managed to get pass the pca, pca hired merc, or maybe other assets of the overseers.

One interesting detail I've noticed in fight against Walter is how Walter's AC movements are different from regular AC's. Movements of an regular AC are really like those of a robot. Precise and with no unnecessary moves, their arms only move when you fire and legs only when needed. While Walter moves like an exhausted human. When he lands before 621 he kneels in a strange pose with no real purpose, his arms seem completly relaxed when he is standing still and when he is defeated he leans forward like he is tired. Makes it seem like the line between a human and a machine is very thin there.

Theres actually a bit more to Steel Haze Ortus being similar to a Gundam! Not only does the design mirror that of a Gundam, but also the story surrounding Rusty getting it. Typically, in Gundam, protagonists usually go through something commonly referred to as a "mid-season upgrade", where the character's main Gundam Unit is destroyed or heavily damaged, and then they receive a brand-new, higher performing one (sometimes also developed in secret, much like Steel Haze Ortus) which is pretty much exactly how the events unfold for Rusty. If this was an intentional reference, it's very cool to see!

A little thing, but the Alba frame's arms are very heavily drawing on various mobile suit designs for its general structure, with the thin porportions but consistent level of thickness down the entire limb. But it's really apparent when you look at the elbow, not only are they very similar to the design used for federation mobile suits in Gundam which is very different than enver other ac in the game, but the forearms don't have the characteristic elbow extension seen on most AC designs.

9 overall is a huge number for armored core, since for over half of the games a reocurring AC fight, normally in arena, was nineball and he was so important that a whole game was called ninebreaker because of him Rusty also calls you buddy as a short for "warbuddies" like he said in the message after the wall mission. He most likely is parroting Middle Flatwell when he says that, considering that Flatwell is Rusty's real boss and he too says that you are warbuddies if you take the mission to ambush V5Hawkins and Pater

One thing to note about Rokumonsen's haikus and haikus in general is that beyond their much more well known 5-7-5 nature, they also overwhelmingly tend to be about nature (although this rule is far less stringently enforce in modern haikus since its less common knowledge). As devoid of actual nature in the traditional sense as Rubicon is, Rokumonsen's haikus instead are focused on the "nature" of mercenaries and the pilots themselves.

They have similar names for poems with similar structure but without the more esoteric rules. Specifically in regards to stuff like seasonal words which is a concept that exists in Japanese haiku which is completely lost in translation.

621 has two identities- to Walter and the Corporations, he is a hound. To Ayre and the RLF, he is Raven. In the fight against V.I Freud in the ending where you side with Walter and Carla as opposed to Ayre and the RLF, he calls you a "hound on the hunt" when he expected "a scavenger bird".

@@gengius3617 AC is not small, but much smaller than the heli, because how else could heli operate as a base for AC with so much room to spare (garage looks quite roomy). Also the way heli flies makes it much different from the AC, I am no expert in the field, but something tells me that closed spaces are not good for big helis.

The note about the garage we use seeming mobile is pretty on point, because in mission intros where you can see your ac being dropped off by that big cargo helicopter, if you look closely at the inside view it actually *is* the garage. This explains how you can access it from anywhere, and how you can still access it after siding with ALLMIND. Oh and in addition to painting the visor; if you put decals on the Shade Eye's faceplate, it WILL respect the placement of your decals! I've been using it to put in little warning signs and signals marking where the visor closes, since that'd be pretty dangerous to sit next to if the machine's in operation.

Bandai has announced Armored Core 6 mechs in their 30 minute missions series which is pretty cool also I thought it was common knowledge that the garage in game was one of those giant transport helicopters. You can see yourself launch from it mid-flight in quite a few missions.

Honestly the old AC games introduced me to the idea of running my own business. You couldn't just replay a mission and if you failed, you wrote off your loss and carried on. So I watched the brief planned efficient weapons for the task at hand to try and maximize my profit margin estimated repair costs if it went ass up and took missions I felt more assured of a successful outcome if I needed the rep boost haha. I must have been 9 or 10. I also realized that if you just keep taking missions from the same corp it could lead to problems after Kisargi? Posted a fake job that was just a hit on me essentially. Was really good pay for a simple task, when I got there, it was 3 fully loaded ACs and no job. lol (AND it was the only mission you couldn't fail and just pass on, it actually gave you a game over screen)

Hi Vaati! For #49; 30mm, or Thirty Minute Missions, is another model kit line by Bandai with a focus on customization and modular parts. This figure is just Robot Spirits, but AC6 model kits have been announced through the 30 Minute Mission line, which fits with AC's customization! This correction is appreciated and I hope Vaati notices it. It can be confusing because Bandai has both a hobby (model kit) division and an action figure division. As you stated, right now we have nothing beyond the initial announcement for ACVI model kits being produced by Bandai. I think it's also worth pointing out that the figure of Ayre's boss "AC" had a "For Display Only" label. In the past, some previewed "products" with this label have not actually gone ahead to full production. These items are often shown off to gauge consumer interest, and if there isn't enough "buzz" generated, then they simply aren't made. Time will tell if the figure is actually produced.

Yes, those Ghost mechs have been trailing you for the whole game. On the Cleanup Grid 086 mission, if you return to the spot where you crash landed at the beginning of the game, you'll encounter one. You can also find wrecked Ghosts with combat logs that speak of ALLMIND's plans, such as the one in Underground 3. Also, after you kill battle log enemies for ALLMIND's LOGHUNT program, they will reappear with blue eye sensors instead of red.

Honestly whenever Rusty called me "Buddy" in the game, it made me think of Ace Combat Zero, and Solo wing Pixy who is your wingman for 90% of the game until near the very end when he finds a purpose truly worth fighting for (in his view) and ends up fighting you, but still considers you his friend, knowing you're destined to clash he wants to push you and him to your absolute limits, seeing the very best of both of you and himself.... Rusty reminds me of Pixy in that way, and while the music in the fight against Rusty during the Fires of Raven Ending is damned good, on my second playthrough I turned the game music down and listened to the song Zero from Ace Combat.... it fits remarkably well. (i highly recommend trying it for all you ace combat fans out there)

Encano is the high-end RLF sympathetic corp (contrast with BAWS) who makes the Firmeza (which is the "artistic" armored core) and needle based weaponry, and the reason Ortus looks the way it does is because of Encano's tendency for style, again seen in their Firmeza line. You can maybe make the assumption that Rusty stole the data from Arquebus, but the Alba's part descriptions suggests Furlong, instead of Arquebus, provided supplementary tech needed to realise the Alba frame. 28:10 Rokumonsen's name is also an allusion in how he's the secret sixth member of the five ac squad of the RLF, whose names actually correspond to the names of fingers reinforcing the five theme (little ziyi, ring freddie, middle flatwell, index durham, and ofc thumb dolmayan). So in a sense, he's the sixth ranger to the RLF's power rangers lol

The "Explosive Thrower" is one of my favourite weapons. It really excels on tank builds, particularly if you're using rolling treads for the leg parts. You can roll by your opponent and throw this out with a great level of success without losing momentum. Combine this with the whip and a couple of bazookas\grenade weapons, and you're laughing.

Note about coral generators affecting expansions: there is an argument to be made that this NERFS assault armor, at least as far as pvp goes. One of the main uses for it is to immediately break pulse armor and stagger the opponent, which can only happen because assault armor only has PA interference when its, well, pulse. Try it with coral and you will only take off about a third of it.

One thing that I miss in older AC games is the individual AC partbreak. In which mid mission its possible for your AC to lose an arm thus removing any weapons equipped on it. The worst part is losing the head which will remove your AC's ability to lock on thus disabling your use of missles and forcing you to manually aim.

On the subject of part names, there's a little double hidden meaning going on with Steel Haze Ortus. The body parts are called the Alba series, which is a Latin word with a couple of meanings. One of those is, "bright," which obviously ties back to the sunrise motif. But another is, "white." And in the original Gundam series, the Zeon forces referred to the Gundam as "The White Mobile Suit." So the part name not only reinforces Rusty's themes, it also gives a little nod to the frame's visual inspiration.

One detail I just put together is that all the AC pilots of the RLF form a hand. Thumb Dolmayn, Index Dunham, Middle Flattwell, Ring Candle, and Little Ziyi. Thumb holding the RLF together, Index the frontline, Middle the tallest, most recognized, Ring for devotion, and Little being the youngest member of the Hand. They are the Hand guiding the people of Rubicon and the Hand seeking to exert the will of the Coral. That's such a cool detail. Also I have reason to believe Rusty was the original Little. Given Ziyi seems incredibly young and Rusty easily outclasses her. More than likely he was originally part of the Hand and when going undercover he got augmented surgery from the RLF, forged current gen documents, and joined the Vespers with a fake ID.

I've actually recreated my Next from AC FA for my current playthrough of AC6. I've called it Forgotten Dragon with the backstory of it being ancient technology being controlled by the Coral to defend itself. I have duel Vientos, the plasma whip & I change out the right shoulder weapon as needed
