*UPDATE* - Thank you all for the support, it really means a lot to me! Reached 100K subs on Sunday, March 19th, 2017, 1 year and 3 weeks after starting the channel! Future plans info: 1. Going full time on KZbin April 1st. This doesn't mean "more" videos as much as it does "better videos", at least I'm going to try! :) I've been burning the candle at both ends for awhile now and could use some sleep! 2. Ryzen 7 1700 build is in progress, but it will probably be towards the end of the week, I'll have some other videos first. Ryzen 5 builds will come in April when it launches. 5. I use an I5 2400 dell optiplex 790MT, I bought from Ebay ($139.00) on your recomendation, i also bought a Zotac GTX750TI for about 85.00 ($75.00 + 10.00 shipping). Both were bought on Ebay. I get consistent 58 FPS on medium. This system is 4 gig ram (soon to be 8 gig) and planning a SSD conversion for primary drive. I also have a EVGA 400W Power supply (28.00) on this computer as well. So far still right at $300, for a very nice setup. Also congratz on the 100K subs, i'm glad to be one of them

These are fantastic videos man. I found this channel last night and just the Hyper 212 Evo, H60, and H80i V2 video was enough to get a sub out of me. You really do something that so few other tech channels do. Sure they do budget oriented stuff occasionally but they never really go in depth and explain the very VERY important subtle economics details that make huge differences in the end product like you do. 5 star channel, I'll definitely be recommending your videos to my friends who have been very eager to get into PC gaming lately.

Love your videos, one of the most realistic tests of all KZbin. I trust your tests more than anybody else. Gt730 was thermal throttling in WOT. I turned the case fan around in my optiplex so it pushed air in instead of out. That may help the passive cards a little even though the fan isn't right by the card. Think you could do a video on getting better thermals on a prebuilt without spending a lot if anything and without modding the case to where it's noticeable?

I have 2 GT 730s one with 1 GB and one with 2 GBs RAM ,,since I am not a gamer I was very interested to how they stack up. I appreciate your efforts here. I am occasionally given old computers that can be brought back to usable life for about $100.The one I am using right now was a Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86 GHz - It had 3 GIGs of RAM and no Graphics Card. I bought a core 2 quad Q6700 @ 2.66 GHz for $21on EBay. I boosted the RAM to 8 GIGs for $42.40 from the local recycling store, and threw in the GT730 with 2 GIGs of RAM I bought on Craigslist for $25. Overall, I invested less than $100 for a decent working PC. A good budget PC. This is not my best PC but it is a very capable back up!

bzzzb8 Indeed, there is often quite a bit of life left in those old PCs. With extra memory, a SSD, and a graphics card they do come back to life. I am doing up a laptop now and I expect it will work very well after the upgrades.

congrats on the 100K milestone. a lot of channels after reaching a certain sub base will start to move away from the main aim of the channel I still like each and every video you put up. Gives me insight of the budget PC and parts at killer deal prices. Thanks to your recommendation, I got Windows 10 for 30 US dollar from Kinguin and that save me like a ton of money as my local PC stores sell the OEM key at 220 dollar each! I am a bit of a World War 2 buff myself. I am still hoping for World Of Warships to release more ships esp from the Japan side. Shimakaze is a deadly Destroyer in terms of speed and a full salvo of fifteen torpedoes at your Mogami would have sunk you at that point where you did a slow right turn. Yuudachi and Shigure will be interesting to see in future additions of Destroyers. A ton of players were using Fubuki as their main esp the Asian servers due to the the popularity of another ship game and anime from Japan called Kantai Collection. That games pretty much make all the ships become cute girls here. And yes it cheesy but it attracts a number of both guys and girls playing the game and also dressing up as the ships characters. Sad to see the big tier drop of Fubuki, it was fun while it last. World Of Warplanes is another game i played for quite a bit, and i still struggling to find time to play. I been eyeing on the Mitsubishi A7M Reppu Zero Fighter. That plane with a skilled pilot could net up to 8 kills and be on the top of the score board. keep up the good work and hope to see more videos thou i rarely hear of youtubers moving back to home from the office. Most i see are upgrading from their own bedroom studio to a spanking nice office/studio :P

FIRST: i know... u are the dealmaster... but... take a look at the gtx 960 i bought a 2gb version for 60 bucks and yesterday a 4gb version for 87 bucks on ebay and shpock (its a secondhand market as app for ur smartphone). and yeah i know the r9 380/x is a little better but i never get one under 100 bucks soooo i give the gtx 960 the thumbs up. SECOND: i want support u on patreon but i seems to be that its not possible, cause im from germany. i've tried it with paypal and it doesnt work. maybe its paypal or because im a dumb german. i will try it in this week again. and i wish you all the good things and stay nice as you are. i love this channel and i can not stop watching your content. watching World of tanks on low details really hurts me, and makes me loving even more my 4 years old desktop pc with an i5 3570k@stock 16 gigs ddr3 2400, Sapphire HD7970 OC 3 gigs, i can play at 1200p all details maxed out almost all the time well over 60 fps and the game looks amazing, completely different...recently i'm trying my wife laptop: an i5 6200u 8 gigs and a GTX 920MX running at 1333x768. I had to lower basically all the details to low or even off (something to medium) and the gameplay struggle to get 60fps and franckly plays badly and looks even worst :( anyway congratulations for your channel :)

Yea I think a lot of people end up disappointed when they try to go too cheap on a video card. Seems like you can get away with going cheap on the cpu but not the gpu.
