50 Ways to Fill A Sketchbook | The First Page

Is there anything better than a brand new notebook filled with loads of blank white pages?!This year I’m filling an entire sketchbook and sharing the process. Watch my sketchbook journey unfold and get tons of ideas for ways to fill your own notebook!
So this is video number one in my sketchbook journey series. We’re kicking things off with a tiny watercolor painting that only takes about 20 minutes to complete. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to paint lavender. A tiny, wild, perfectly imperfect field of lavender, actually. And all you need is a bit of washi tape, watercolor paints, a small round brush and your sketchbook, of course!

Hi Shayda🦋🌻I am REALLY HAPPY with this NEW SKETCHBOOK first page class BECAUSE before I always felt intimidated about Ruining the NICE paper you usual use although is not terrible expensive I did not feel BRAVE enough to go for it..this way is just SKETCHBOOK I can buy in Walmart( no excuses easy as Pie) and just the WORD sketchbook made me feel is OK if you mess up🤗😊.It is just PRACTICING!! NO TENSION,so Thank you for coming up with this IDEA for those of us Who are no so FEARLESS..Also I feel it goes with the Spring Time when you feel care FREE easy as a free...It just perfect for the beautiful simplicity of SPRING.P.S CONGRATS on your new knitted Sweater..very nice.You are so very gifted you are!! Wonderful start to a sketchbook. I love the series idea. My brain is really literal this morning and I can't think of one single other title for this series. 50 ways to fill a sketchbook seems pretty perfect! The lavender mini is a lovely starting point. We had a massive (about 9'x9') patch of lavender in our garden in Vernon (BC) and that's one thing I miss about that house! I have a 7x10 sketchbook that's approaching full, but this will be a fun way to fill it. And then start another! Looking forward to the series.
