DNA studies show that the human population has lots of diversity on the X chromosome (many mothers) but much less diversity on the Y chromosome. Nearly even woman has passed her genes but only about 40% of men. The very limited modern paternity testing puts 30% of men unknowingly raising another man’s offspring. France banned paternity testing because the results could potentially destroy society. There have been periods when more men have been able to marry and have children but current trends look bad. Historically, frequent wars kept the male population down creating scarcity and causing women to work harder at getting men and have more realistic standards. We have enjoyed a relatively long period of peace and prosperity that has generated too many men causing the women to get too picky. This is causing men to adopt trends that spell disaster for society because without hope of sex and offspring there is little reason to be productive or protective.
