Looks like you got it dialed in. I was hoping for another video.👍 KZbin was recommending substitutes. Lol Looks too cold for me but really, I can't stand a dry cold. It just pulls the heat right out of you. I'd be trying to shoot outside from inside. Lol 😂

I can't say enough how awesome it is shooting now off my back porch which is partially enclosed with the new diesel heater it is awesome even my dogs like it ....Winter's here I've got to walk up and down my shooting range out to 100 yd to start picking up all my targets and setting up the above the snow ones looks like you've got just a little bit more snow than I do here in Idaho we only have a couple inches.
@airgunsofalaskaАй бұрын
We are behind on snow compared to where we should be. The multiple early snowfalls we got starting in October both partially melted and the rains knocked the snow pack down in depth. I’ve seen some videos where guys shot from inside an enclosure or shed, that looked like a nice set up. But with the lack of daylight for me during the work week, it wouldn’t make a difference as it’s getting dark when I get home.

Good shooting! with those Crosman UHD 19g Pellets. Those UHD are very similar to the Rifle RTX 18.67g pellets. The Rifle RTX are more premium than the Crosman. RTX are more consistent in size and weight! Glad you found another pellet that has some better accuracy!
@airgunsofalaskaАй бұрын
The Crosman UHD pellets have been a weird pellet for me. The majority of my guns don’t shoot them well. I’ve found this Norica is picky with pellet head size. A good number of my pellets are difficult it seat in the breech using only your finger. Ore often than not I have to use the pellseat to push them all the way in. I’ve got some rifle brand pellets but I don’t recall what type they are. They must have a larger headsize as they are difficult to load into the breech of this run.

Gotta thank you for the update, I really wasn't in to the norica until I started watching your reviews. I live in the Adirondacks and have mostly shot c02 for the last 25 yrs plus. The weather here keeps me from shotting as much as I want recently got a ( my first) break barrel.) I went with the black bunker BM8. in .22. I do like the gas piston guns due to a disability that almost makes impossible to break down more than 48 lbs. What it the cocking like on this air gun? In case I missed it. I'm really thinking about getting one of these it looks nice but zero recoil is interesting.
@airgunsofalaskaАй бұрын
I’ll have to figure out a way to measure the cocking effort. This gun isn’t hard to cock but without a number to quantify it, that’s just subjective. I rarely shoot CO2 up here. Even in the summer we are cool enough that CO2 guns often freeze up as I like to shoot them fast.
@airgunsofalaska25 күн бұрын
@@tfranke6011 I just tried using 2 different bathroom scales to measure the cocking force. I don’t think they are providing accurate measurements due to how the leverage force is pushing the butt of the stock onto the scale. I got readings of 48 lbs. I don’t believe that, as when you cock it off your thigh, it’s not hard to cock. I believe one of my Hatsans has a 50 lb cocking force and it is way harder to cock than this Norica. I guess I’d need some type of fish scale to get an accurate measurement?

You got me wondering which of my airguns would pass or fail this test, good to see Norica can do it. Hey guess what I got? The Hatsan AT44, long version in .25 with it being on mega sale rn. It's great! Very different for me, the platform is very different and interesting, super nice trigger. I've only been shooting it offhand with the sling and sights but have some great short range accuracy going, almost can't wait for the trash pandas to raid my dumpster now I've got enough air power to take them out😁

I’ve never owned a Hatsan PCP gun. It’ll be way easier to shoot than my Hatsan break barrel mod 95. Right now I’m saving up my KZbin money to make a more expensive purchase of an airgun from a brand I’ve never owned before. I probably won’t get it until January or February of next year. That .25 cal will hit hard, that’s for sure!
@yoitired29 күн бұрын
@@airgunsofalaska .25 is a change too it really slices through brush compared to the smaller calibers. With the $ I saved getting it half off I got the Vevor compressor too, Nibs likes it, still have to set mine up. Hm I wonder what yours will be? Nice shooting, honestly I can’t get used to the looks of that air rifle. It does seem to preform at or above its price point. You should get a extra shot for shooting in 16 temps, but again nice shooting, this makes am interesting series to follow, to bad soon, you’ll be in the dark most of the time( I think) . Have a great Thanksgiving everyone.
@airgunsofalaskaАй бұрын
I know what you mean.😄 When I first pulled it out of the box I was like “What the… ?”. But now that I’m so used to looking at it I don’t even notice. As we move towards solstice it’ll be getting dark at 3:30 in afternoon and not fully light out until around 10am. Right now at 9am it’s pretty light outside but not fully bright. The fortunate thing is with the snow on the ground it brightens everything up so winter nights are not as dark as they are in the fall. When we have full moons it is beautiful! Overcast nights are nice too as then lights from twin reflect off the clouds and it’s not as dark as one would expect.

@airgunsofalaskaАй бұрын
@@aceman1126 it was a bummer about the Dream Hunter as I liked the gun up until it failed. The length of pull is a little long for me on this Omnia, but it’s comfortable to shoulder and shoot. Its looks definitely don’t appeal to everyone but I’ve grown so used to them I don’t even notice. Of course I didn’t buy it either so I don’t have any emotional or financial investment into making the decision. Those factors would definitely have had an impact on my feelings about the gun’s appearance. There are a few airguns on the market right now that I wouldn’t buy regardless of how well they shot or performed. I just really dislike their looks and would never be happy with them.

@@HaydenSuarez-vr7mr I thought it did really well at 50 yds using pellets not on the factory’s list of recommended pellets. Also, at $380, I don’t consider it “cheap”.
@HaydenSuarez-vr7mr29 күн бұрын
@airgunsofalaska I'm not calling it cheap that was a general question.
@airgunsofalaska29 күн бұрын
@@HaydenSuarez-vr7mr Ahhhh, I misunderstood. 👍 I think it depends on the brand, particular gun, pellets being used, distance from the target and the expectations of what is considered accurate. I’ve shot more springers and break barrel guns in the under $200 range that had poor to mediocre accuracy than ones that were good. In that price range a guy will far more likely find better accuracy in a PCP or pneumatic than a gas ram or springer. It all depends on how far away you like to shoot. If a guy really wants an accurate break barrel gun it’d be best to spend more money unfortunately. That said, I’ve had really good results with a remanufactured Gamo Swarm Hornet I bought of the Gamo website.

I watch your videos religiously and I had recently purchased a Crossman 362. I seen the video on the breach and order the Crossman breach instead, but I had also ordered a hollow breach probe and a larger transport. Have you ever done any of these modifications to your Crossman 362.?
@airgunsofalaska9 күн бұрын
Thanks! 😄👍 I’m really curious to see how your hollow probe will do. I didn’t even know they existed until a viewer told me about them. I’ve installed the Crosman steel breech on both of my 362’s and my 3622. I’ve not had a good experience with larger transfer ports. But I’ve seen other versions than the one I bought. The style I like is the bored out stock transfer port. The I bought off eBay was just a piece of metal tubing with a different rubber gasket seal. That piece of garbage never sealed correctly and leaked air. I removed it and went back to stock.
