50 Years of De-Evolution aka DEVO comes to BeachLife

My son just recently beat cancer and is a huge Devo fan. I surprised him with VIP tickets to this very festival. We got to meet Mark and have him sign his newest art book. He's an exceptional guy who loves his fans. It truly was the BEST time ever!

At first all us punks didn't know what to think of DEVO. We actually thought the songs where recorded electronically. UNTIL!!!!! We seen them live. DEVO blew our fucking minds!! Playing every interment to perfection! I look back now. Everyone else sucked playing their interments (other bands) DEVO was tight AF!! My friends and I brought allot of products off them albums. It was epic!! Red Pottery hats, Yellow jumpsuits. That we destroyed slam dancing at other punk show wearing the Yellow DEVO jump suits.🤣🏴‍☠ Great memories. 🙌🏼❤ We are Not men, We are DEVO!!

My friend Amy (their sister) told me the energy dome idea came from this old mid-century modern lamp their grandparents had. She had it in her (now closed) art gallery about 14 years ago.
