Saw it last night, it was incredible. The way it flowed with the vision , audio and stories was brilliant. I was amazed at how the archive footage and early clips that many of us hardcore fans had seen had been remastered. Can't wait for it to come out on Blu-Ray.

Attended the AFI screening of the film in Los Angeles two weeks ago and really enjoyed the film! Insightful, funny and an interesting time capsule of the 70s and 80s! I’m hoping for a blu-ray release that includes their music video library.

I want the Blu-ray with any deleted material, a lengthy essay by Casale (I’d love one by the Mothersbaughs, too), at least one commentary track, and… and… and…

It's a tall ask, but I'd like to see that Pemberton documentary as an extra, out of morbid curiosity more than anything, to see if it was truly bad enough to start the whole thing over.

@@stapler942 Would you, stapler, please tell me anything you know about that? I’ve wondered about it ever since it was put on ice. I heard Mark objected to it for exaggerating or fabricating some drug use, but I aside from that rumor I know nothing at all. Thanks.

@@GrantTarredus I have no idea as to why Mark shelved it. Supposedly an early cut was kind of a bad film but I can't speak to any subsequent edits or whether the band even watched them. Bob 1 mentioned not liking the person making that film and left it at that. Mark has never mentioned the film at all, as far as I know. Jerry seemed to approve of the film but it wasn't up to him. Also I haven't found any summaries of the new film that mention whether any part of the first documentary was included.

@@stapler942 It’s kind of you to reply and I appreciate it very much. Devo literally changed my life, and literally on the exact day their debut album was released in the U.S. My parents owned a record store. I worked in it that day and hadn’t heard of them or seen an ad, but played it because of Brian Eno’s name on the jacket. I was 17 then. I’m 63 now and I don’t know who or what I’d be if Devo hadn’t put me on the road they did. Thank you, spud.
