That's a great assessment, no leaks very lucky ! Yeah the centre bearing is a shit I tried recently doing mine, it's not a very home friendly job as it ideally needs a specific press.. I paid a shop $100 Labor plus $50 for the bearing to do it the end

If you were in NSW I’d show you how to do the tail shaft centre bearing and CV joint (May as well do both when it’s out). It’s not that hard, and as long as you mark everything and put it all back exactly the same way, it retains the balance.
