When you’re building the motor, fit a NEW crank sensor (in the dizzy) along with the rotor, cap & leads. It’s much easier to fit it and set the static timing close when it’s on the engine stand……

No brackets needed for the vt upgrade. They all bolt straight on. Run ur vs booster. With a vt master cylinder.

Exactly right. It was pushed at fleet buyers and private alike. The company I worked for went to acclaims from ‘95 for those exact features. It was better value than optioning up an exec.

Id say poverty spec in the uk. Ive never heard anyone call it pov pack. Pov spec never pack. Also if you get a beemer youd say its se spec even if it aint to wind your mate up.

That is just a faulty tire pressure sensor. Or just missing it overall. Most nice tire shops will replace it for you, unless you go to a cheap shop for tires. Then that is how you get the faulty sensor because they probably didn’t even put one in.

@@anthonystanley7147 well a cheap sensor is about 40 dollars per wheel. So if tire shops are doing that for free they are losing money at that point. So I doubt it

I’ve got a VS station wagon that was one of the very lasts of them so it was painted in one of the dark red colours of the vt and still looks good today 👍

Rubens mica came out at the start of VS and ran thru VT as well. My VS2 Calais is that colour, and the paint was stuffed before it turned 10….. the reason white & red survive is because they are solid colours. The clear comes off after 10-12 years in the Aussie sun. Doesn’t matter what brand, any Aussie made car in that era - Ford, Toyota, Mitsubishi - they all have poor clear coats (and head linings). The only good ones left with original paint lived a pampered life in a garage for 95% of their life..

I would definitely consider clear coat when it comes time to respray my white VN, is that Alpine white as well? Or is it Alaskan, can never remember what the VS' used haha

Alpine gave way to Alaskan a few months before VP was released (late VNs are Alaskan). Heron replaced Alaskan in late VS2, prior to VT.
