The $500 Ahri skin is the biggest rip off in League of Legends history. Sure it looks amazing but it definitely isn't worth the price. I'm really curious who or which people in Riot decided to make this stupid decision.

It’s 250. Not 500. Yes it’s still a rip off. But if you’re an Ahri main and have money, do whatever you want. People spend triple that on weed, alcohol and prostitutes.

Regular business team working at riot or a business team hired to optimize this one decision. This is essentially my career path but with an engineering focus. It's downright sickening to be honest with you but everyone needs to make a living and some people make a living by telling companies how to make money. I personally think it's a better use of energy to try and organize ways to boycott microtransactions. People think it doesn't work but if you even hurt their numbers by 10-15% lower than what they had planned then someone has to own up to the unforeseen losses or not meeting a certain goal. Companies will abandon projects all together if they don't meet certain goals regardless of if they're profitable or not. At the end of the day riot is trying to maximize earnings with every decision while finding a level of just tolerable customer satisfaction. Show your dissatisfaction and they'll likely do something you like as a result to make happy and buy more products again. It's no coincidence that the blue essence shop shows up days after the skin's announcement. Just be aware the results you want may not come in the form of this skin unfortunately. They also have to stand by some of their steaming piles of crap and hold to what they say some of the time. Look at the recent helldivers incident... Sony gave some slack but also are not willing to budge on certain countries getting service again(for whatever reasons they have).

I love it but can’t justify $500 for it. As someone who cares nothing about pro play, the name Faker means nothing to me and is the only reason why Riot is setting the price so high. And considering they mentioned possibly doing these kinds of skin collaborations yearly, It’s just wild that they would even consider marketing it for $500
