The first time I watched this movie, I hated it. I couldn't figure out why they didn't end up together. After a second watch, I realized that this is, in fact, one of the best not-love stories I've ever seen. It actually represents the reality of relationships, which is what made it so painful. Sometimes people don't end up together. Sometimes one person is more interested than the other. There will always be a broken heart somewhere, sometime. This is about life, not love.

It's amazing how incredibly attached I was to this film. Every picture on there evoked some feeling in me and my heart stir over and over. Of course, that's probably because I watched the film over 6 times within the course of two weeks :)) But I guess that shows how powerful this film was! Loved it then, still love it now :)

I love 500 Days of Summer. This movie really gets you thinking and I appreciate it very much. Such a nice change from the typical romantic story. After watching this movie, I always find myself thinking, "wow". I love Zooey and Joseph, perfect people for these roles. Can't imagine anyone else!! :)

This movie really help make me whole again. I was in a mess and was just passing by without a care because of my recent breakup and being denied by others when trying to get back on my feet. This story is so honest that any one can relate to it. What I found was most inspiring about the film was perhaps the final moments that led up to it. I feel like the reason people aren't accepting the film is because it's true. Love is a really complicated mess and at the same time beautifully simple.

Actions speak louder than words. Trite, but true. It doesn't matter as much what someone says, it matters what they do. If she's acting like she cares, acting like there's a relationship, acting like there might be potential, then she's contradicting her own words. It's not right to toy with someone's emotions when you know that's not what you want.
