This video was made a while ago. The prices went up (crazily) and now it’s going downs again but here are some things to clarify so some of you don’t get confused! 1. I took a loan to lease the place ( explained the system in the video) The interest for the loan was roughly $320 per month back then. including utilities it was $650. I have a roommate so it’s $325 each for 2 people. I just wrote $500 to include extra living costs like internet, insurance and etc. 2. To do Jeonse( Korean lease system) you need to pay 50-80% of the price of the house and back then it was ($241,000)-which is much cheaper compared to Seoul. You could get bank loan up to 80% of this amount. So We needed to prepare minimum of $24,200 each as deposit. ( which was just a little more than my deposits in Seoul for a small apartment) 3. To rent this place back then, it was $24200 deposit and $1000 per month as rent. 4. Now the interest rate doubled so it’s extra $160 each. I pay around $600 per month for the house including everything. The overall prices even in Incheon went up along with everywhere else in Korea. But now it’s going down again. Hopes this clears some of the questions!! I’ll make a new video soon on housing!! ( edited Jan 17th 2023) ------------ 01:17 How my house really looks when I don't clean 01:36 Cleaning my house 03:52 House tour 11:33 What is Jeonse and how much I pay to live here * house hunting related tips : kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZvSY4h8nZuEbqs

First of all: I want those pijama looks so comfy. Second the apartment is really beautiful and checking how big it’s, with beautiful views and probably has amenities it’s very affordable (except for the big amount of the Jeonse). I’m absolutely in love with the open kitchen 💗💓. It would be interesting to know how much you pay for the loan cause you need to add to your spends the interests of the loan and the anual inflation of the Jeonse (probably would be better to buy the property but also depends of the needs or instead of take the loan change the car ;) Just Kidding). In Mexico I hadn’t heard something like the Jeonse but sounds really interesting, here we have the real state leasing that offers you the possibility to buy the property in a time of 1 to 10 years and pay it in concept of monthly rent without a deposit. Sorry if I extended to much I got a little excited hahaha Have a wonderful day ✌🏽

In my city in the US, I can tell you, that would be a $3000 apartment! Does korea have huge deposits for getting an apartment? Edit my question was answered

He didn’t mention how much he paid for the key money so I’m assuming it was expensive considering he didn’t just say how much instead he said he had to get a loan

This is so beautiful wow! May I ask how much the deposit was? I am pretty sure it‘s extremely high😂

so like I said I used Jeonse (leasing system) and it was $260,000 ( but you can get up to 80 % loan which means the minimum amount of money you need is $52,000) but the prices went up and now it’s like over $400,000 which means you need more than $80,000…. if it was in rent it used to be $50,000 deposit, $1000 rent ( compared to seoul this is super cheap for house this big) but this is also much more expensive now

Thank you for the tour, it was really nice to see how apartments look in Korea. The distance from Incheon to Seul is actually similar to which I have to London. Prices... oh wow.. I understand can be different everywhere but comparing to detached house with front and rear garden which I'm living right now price is very similar. Dang it, Korea is expensive.. I'm jealous of the views tho. Is stunning! Thank you once again for sharing it with us. Wish you all the best, take care and eat well

Every corner has sunlight and moonlight. This is very relaxing and this is the goal.

Right, I love the natural lighting in his place... my house just has views of walls and fences because it's a 1-story house, so I always keep the shades drawn and never get to enjoy natural lighting.

living in London, with $500 rent, you're getting a studio not even a house or flat 😭😭

Do you pay $500 for one room or the whole apartment? Do you pay monthly or weekly
@douglasjensen89862 жыл бұрын
It is for the whole apartment. But you didn't listen to how the payment works, there is no rent (but utilities and loan interest).
