Thank you Dan for sharing this with us. One of the reasons why I follow your content is because you are honest. Stay safe and know that you have support around you. You have the right to put up boundaries around your personal life. People should really respect that. Just because you share your life it doesn't mean that you have to share everything. Take care!

I completely agree with this comment and feel the same. Keep taking care of you in every way! Do what's best for you, whether continuing with the channel or not. You deserve to live life the way that brings you happiness 🥰 I wish you all the best in whatever you do, but especially in life in general. 🙏🏾💜 And I'm very, very sorry for your losses. In due time, I hope you'll br able to walk with your grief rather than live in it. As someone who's suffered several close losses in the last 6 yrs, this is what I learned for myself. I truly hope this for you as well. 💜

Dan... Thank you for being strong enough to be open about your sadness/depression regarding your friend's passing. I am so sorry you had to experience this, as I know (only from my experience and point of view of losing friends/family) how difficult this is. I am and you should be, so proud of yourself for taking the time to process these types of losses, and knowing that only you know how you feel and how long it takes for you to go through the process. I am also extremely impressed that regarding certain "very personal" questions that have been asked of you, you took the stand to not provide any details and in fact indicate asking them was rude. I wholeheartedly agree with you. Although I subscribe to your channel and enjoy your videos, I do understand that doing so does not give me the right to ask or even still expect you to respond to such questions. So thank you for having limits of what you share with your audience. Continue to live your life on your terms, travel, laugh often and love wholeheartedly, capture moments in your mind as memories, take plenty of photos and videos. Please remember, even though you may always have moments where you an say I wish I had of kept in touch more, etc, know we all feel that way at times and you are doing your best each day...and that is the best any of us can do. Take care of yourself. I hope these words from a grandmother who has travelled around the sun almost 65 times (and counting lol) will bring you some comfort. Stay safe and healthy and remember to be kind to yourself.🤗

So sorry for your loss Danny! One of the biggest reasons I love your Bedtime talks because they were honest feelings! Today’s video is another stellar example of how one can connect with strangers from all the over world with just plain sincerity! Wishing you happiness and a lovely 2024! Btw I visited Korea in 2023 and each and every advice was really helpful! Had a wonderful summer there.

What a truly touching message! I'm sorry for your loss, Dan. It definitely takes time to adjust to these losses and get back to the stage when we are ready to move forward with the loss. Bed talks can wait. As fans and supporters, we always want you to do what makes you feel comfortable and happy. Finally, the age reveal has taken place, but to us, you will always be forever 21. I love and admire the sincerity and honesty in your videos. And also your personal stance. We should always do that unapologetically. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Please keep these videos coming whenever you get time because we eagerly wait for them. Wishing you a great 2024 with memories to remember and good things to look forward to.

Just watched your Paris trip, which I enjoyed very much and I wanted to check out your other vlogs. I like that you set clear boundaries and that they are shared. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out to the universe. So many of your followers have posted great comments of support, so I just wanted to add a couple of things to think about. When we are young, we think we are invincible. We are not. So when we lose that first close friend at a young age, it really is hard to process. I lost a friend to suicide at age 14 many years ago. We had no idea. Seek help by talking it out with a friend, an acquaintance you trust or better yet, a professional. It is not unmanly or cowardly to seek grief counseling to help you process your grief and use the tools available to help you get back to functioning normally. You won’t forget your friend, but you will be able to “swim” when those waves of grief come out of nowhere. And second, take the time to tell the people you love, that you love them. It doesn’t matter how you do it, send a text or email, give them a call/video chat, just pop in, offer to run an errand, use your imagination….Don’t let “life” get in the way of what is really important.

Thanks for sharing especially the fact that you have felt depressed. As someone who has experienced depression one of the first steps to coping is actually admitting you are depressed. All the positive comments that have been posted I hope will help you feel supported. As a lady in her late 60’s I too have taken the opportunity to travel. Currently planning my 4th trip to South Korea! I am still only 21 in my head!!! You share so much of your life and feelings on line which is absolutely amazing but quite rightly you need to draw a line as to how much you reveal and people should respect your privacy. I love all your posts . Hoping to make it to your bar/restaurant this year. Live a happy and fulfilled life

Hello, I discover your chanel. You are brave. It's not easy to explain feelings. You have a good soul. You speak sincerely. I continue to speak in my language and I hope you can translate. 🌺🌸💐

I'm very sorry for your loss. When people leave, we ask ourselves who we are, where we come from and where we will go again. We miss people sorely and experience different phases of grief and there comes a time when we really try hard to recall the images of people in our heads because they gradually fade. After a certain time we remember the beautiful things in life that we had with this person. We then become aware of what is really important in life and we should live how we want. All the best to you

I just came across your content, and this was a very heartwarming first video to watch. Social media is usually just all the goods and extravagant things in life. Some don't share what they're going through behind closed doors or their true selves, and I truly do respect their decisions to do so, so I dont expect someone to show me everything.. and I believe that when someone is ready to share something with their friends or family or viewers, they will do so on their own terms. But it is very heartwarming when one is comfortable enough to open up and talk about their feelings, their struggles, their values, anything that is personal, because I find that it's a way of connecting with those who you appreciate, and those who appreciate you, and it's a good reminder that we are all humans and are all going through one thing or another, regardless of what is being shared online. Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself, your mannerism, your respect for others, and your values are very admirable.

Hi Dan, I’m just here to thank you for trusting us enough with the update. You seem very lovely and down-to-earth to me so far, from what I’ve seen of you. I have lost my dad just recently this year so I’m not okay yet and based on what you said I also believe I’m the same age as you or very very close to it. It was nice to see you having set up boundaries for your fans as i believe it will help your mental health. It’s also lovely to see you slowly healing from your traumas. I wish you all the best and to continue to never feel pressured to do or share more than you want to or sooner than when you are ready. Real supporters and followers appreciate all you do and wish you nothing but the best in life. Keep your chin up high! xx

It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to cry, be mad, and laugh when we're grieving. It's okay to hide what you're feeling. It doesn't matter WHO, WHAT, WHEN, HOW OR WHY we feel. We all handle emotions differently. And to hear someone say to GET OVER IT, SNAP OUT OF IT, TIME HEALS All WOUNDS. People want to help and want to understand, but unless you go through what others have gone through, they just don't know.

Having lost my fair share of friends and family. The best thing to do is grieve, accept and move on. Can I always do This successfully? No, But there is nothing we can do with feeling sick, Depressed and down which I have done several times. All we do is make ourselves miserable mentally and physically sick. You know that they are with us in spirit. Same thing with having hard difficult or depressing times snap out of it. Change your focus listen to positive self talk everyday every night, keep your mind on a clear, happy path

Hello Danny, happy new year to you too🥳🥂wishing you the best in 2024. I am so glad that you are doing much better, just keep in mind is ok to be not ok😜. Life is a 🎢 , the important thing is get up and keep on living. Let’s live the present, with no regrets. Yesterday is gone, and the future never comes. With age comes lots of reflections, and to prioritize what matters in that moment. Thank you for your open heart and candid vlog. It’s ok to not have a bed talk. Some people may take advantage of the vulnerability of some persons. It’s really a shame 😔 You know what? I am glad that you took an impulsive trip to France. Sometimes, it’s fun not to plan too much, and take risks🤗 Je suis très fière de vous😊 believe it or not, your trip helped in a certain degree for my upcoming trip to France this summer. For that , I am very grateful. I’m glad that you really did not say how old are you. I’m good at guessing, I knew you were in your thirties, but that’s it. I would like to keep that bit of a mystery. I will not search for your real age😝 what counts is that we all are young at heart, not in a chronological sense. Blessed to all the people of a certain age that keep the kid inside to have fun in life😇. I enjoy your blog so much, I find some similarities with my life; nonetheless, it’s like parallel lines that will never intersect, just run in the same direction. Of course , I am not a vloger, nor a content creator, that is a huge difference.😜this blog was different from the one you made 2 years ago. Wow time flies, and I’m loving what you are doing now in terms of inspirational👍💖thanks a million for answering the questions, you are so cute☺️. When you are ready , you will be ready to share more😎I just wish you the best for the new endeavors in your life, many blessing to you and your family🙏💯🫶😘

It`s not only very understandable that you put them in place but an absolute must to do so in Social Media or Cyberspace in general! It`s too big of a risk to become a successful target of ill-minded individuals without proper precautions, safety measures, and boundaries. 13:04: I can see a whole story in this facial expression! 😉😅 I appreciate you Danny and I`m very much looking forward to keep seeing you grow and thrive in 2024, wherever it may lead you! 🫶😊

I'm a devout Catholic. After my favorite diocesan priest died in 2013 about four hours after I left his nursing home room. Sice we were close, I cried when an email said only Father's relatives belonged at the funeral. Drying my eyes, I talked to the priest's soul, asking him to arrange it if he wanted to me to attend the funeral. So, a friend offered me a ride to the funeral Hume, the cemetery, and the luncheon. At the restaurant, I thanked Father's healthcare proxy for letting me go to those places, though I wasn't in the priest's family. The poxy looked at me, gestured to us at the table, and replied, "This is his family." Who knows? Your departed friend may hear you if you talk to her.

I am so happy to find your channel and watching someone like me , who don't let People's opinion bother them . I wish that you always Pursue your heart's desire , more power to you❤😊 .

Dan, thank you for your bravery in sharing your story. I always appreciate your honesty, and respect your right to share only the parts of yourself you feel comfortable with. My deepest condolences on the loss of your loved ones over the past year. Grief can be a long and uneven process. I'm sure your message of it's OK not to be OK, and even hearing a bit of how you processed your loss, will help orhers experiencing their own losses. Wishing you all the best. A fan from Canada.

Thank you for sharing. So sorry for your lost. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I know how you feel. I lost my father Jan 2023, then lost my brother-in-law 6 months later. Still hits me hard every now and then, but trying to keep myself busy while mourning silently and being strong for my remaining family members. Hang in there!

I always enjoy your videos, I get to see places I may never see. I enjoy these videos too, it’s nice to learn a little of the people you spend time watching. What I see or what I’m learning is you are a genuinely nice person and you consider how others around you feel. I’ve been through really difficult things in life, and I’ve learned that we are deal with things differently but the key to getting through is acceptance and talking about our difficulties when we are ready. I process things pretty fast, but feel things sometimes for a long time. You’re doing Ok Dan, being able to talk about things helps you heal, and some people are never able to that. Even in my society asking someone how much money they make is rude, I guess there will always be those people who are ignorant or just rude as stated. Its very pleasing to know that you work hard to support yourself and make good financial decisions, so many people here are becoming homeless because they lived beyond their means and when hard times came they couldn’t over come or keep up with their debts. I never ask personal questions, I feel like people share what they want when they want, and I’m ok with that. And making assumptions is not smart. Thanks for the video, I’m glad you’re feeling a little better. I look forward to future videos. Have a lovely time until them 😁.

Happy belated new year, 2023 wasn't great for me either, I had a massive heart attack in February (I was gone for a few minutes) and then lost my Mum a week before Christmas, the most devastating thing in life is the loss of family, friends and also pets, I think it's quite disrespectful and rude to ask someone about how much money they earn, I've never asked anyone about their finances, I've never asked a guy if he's single either 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't understand why some people think they're entitled to know the ins and outs of a cats butt hole when it comes to the personal life of people that are in the public eye, you have every right to keep your personal life private it has nothing to do with anyone else, I hope you have an amazing 2024 with many adventures, I love watching videos of the places you visit and seeing you enjoying life 👍🏻❤️

Grief is a journey, a process, an ebb and a flow. Each of us goes through it differently. Sorry the year was difficult for you. Take your time. Don't leave your 'inner child' behind. A member of my family kept hers with her until she passed away - at just shy of 99. Take kind care of yourself.

I’m so sorry about your loss and I know how you feel because I lost someone dear to me last year, it’s hard but it gets better over time. We have to keep pushing forward. Being sad, happy depressed is part of life and we need to manage it individually at our own pace. My motto is be fearless and live the life you are destined for so you are doing great and keep going. I’m much older than you and I’m 21 forever. You much younger than you look. You don’t have to tell us anything that you don’t want to say. It’s unfortunate that some people don’t have respect for themselves first and others to be asking personal questions like that. They need to know there is something called boundaries and not to cross that line. Thank you for keeping it real. I really enjoy your frankness. Wishing you new beginnings and blessings for 2024.

You have to decide if you want to share with us and what you want to share 😊 Anyway, releted to your age... I thought you was younger 😅 but you are always my oppa (I mean older than me) Stay healthy and be careful. In these days here in Italy it's very hot 😢

Oh, I can relate. I had a very precious friend growing up during High School years. After school she kept in touch although we had moved very far away. As FB became a thing we had an opportunity to catch up. Our move during gr 11 had such an impact on her, she said she felt lost, she missed the peacefulness she felt around me. She always begged me to visit if I ever went down to the South Coast of South Africa, but I never did, due to family obligations, work, marriage and children. She passed away a few years ago and it feels like I can never forgive myself for not seeing her. I still cry when I think of her, she was an amazing person. The first thing you need to realise is that greef is normal, and that you must forgive yourself. Focus on the good memories you had. Time heals many things. It was my best friend that I lost and it struck very hard. But remember, God knows what He is doing. Why He takes some to Heaven really young. Just hang in there, cry when you want to cry and celebrate her life and impact she had on you. Blessings my friend, it does become a bit more clear in time. ❤ My grandmother was also exceptionally precious to me. I lost many people in my 20's for the first time in my life. I'm in my 40's now, age and a growth in maturity give you greater depth of understanding. If you speak of your life experiences and it does not make you feel comfortable, don't. Your story is your story! I wish I had the chance to visit France, you've done more than me! Just be yourself, honest, and allow yourself time to grow at your own unique pace, there are no rules how any of us should be. We're all unique and different. I have a rule in life, if someone doesn't speak about something, I don't ask any questions, besides how are you? The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to respect people's privacy!

A beautiful episode. Yes, you have a right to privacy. It’s definitely ok to not be ok - and to be loving & patient with yourself til you are ok again. I agree that experiences & travelling are better than an ” item“ (99% of the time at least.😜)Wishing you a healing & special 2024.🌺
