That can not be 1996 model. Both the 1996 and 1997 did not have the small front driving lights. I am an original owner of a 1997 Honda Del Sol Si. This model is 1993-1995 model.

You are right it's not a 97 front end! The title and Vin show it's a 97 though. I've also owned a 94 del sol S model that had this pre-facelift (dual light) bumper. The front end was swapped to the pre-facelift front end I'm assuming most likely after an accident. ✌️

@@WreckedRevival Look at the total number of Del Sol sold in 1997. I bought mine in November of 1997. I remember when you could find a lot for sale. Most destroyed by boy racers. It was my mid life crisis car and I am still in it. Believe it or not it now my only car! There only a few running in my area. Mine is in stock condition. I compare my car to a Porsche 356. The 356 only had 90 horsepower. The 1965 Porsche 911 only had 130 horsepower.

@@jamesmustin7289 That's awesome you're an original owner and kept it stock but dang I didn't realize there were under 6k sold in 97, pretty crazy! These have been one of my favorite cars ever since owning my first one in high school. Definitely don't see many of them out on the road anymore, I do know where a couple others are locally that are out of commission & in decent shape. Would love to get another one with the b16a3 engine in it like my first one had, it was a quick car.

Thats a comup..bought mine for 600 had to smog for 200 under the table and added about 200 to 300 in labor Runnin like a champ..might need a new set of ngk wores and spark plugs and a new distributor but other than tht shes smooth

Hell yeah sounds like a good buy and these are getting to be pretty hard to find these days! Love them though, had one growing up and was definitely one of my favorite cars I've owned. Should have another video up on this thing here soon!

@@MikeKollin That's awesome, always loved these things! They're definitely fun little cars. It's funny people always laugh or have a big grin on their faces when they see mine. Use to be the same way with my old one too until I took them on a ride in it. It had the b16a3 with a ported head, bigger valves, stage 2 cams, adj. cam gears and so on, it was pretty quick to say the least. 😁🤘

@@WreckedRevival Wow! Sounds nice!! I have a small engine right now... just got into cars less than 2 years ago. my mechanic would tell me, "You can fix that,. Watch youtube video's. If you mess it up then I'll fix it..." Well lo and behold he made me fix about 6 or 7 things over a 1 1/2 period and I started seeing all these videos of people fixing up their cars and how awesome they looked and sound and bam! I got hooked! I want to fix mine up!
