I love the fact that you're one of the only western youtubers that make videos about kbeauty without making the products/their ingredients seem "exotic" and "weird", all clickbait-y and educating yourself on the way the products work and are meant to be worn without immediately giving bad reviews bc it doesn't work like the products you're used to. The exotification of asian food, culture and people is so often done and a sensitive topic in many cultures and I really appreciate that you don't do that 💕💕 so much love

I get so frustrated when someone complains an eyeshadow isn't pigmented enough when it's not meant to be or when a light coverage foundation is not full coverage enough!!! Sadly clickbaits work and are almost necessary at this point on youtube. One of the popular research about korean or asian beauty products uses the word weird which is probably why people use it. If I were to do the same tho I would make sure they are truly "weird" because I've seen some that are.... not at all lol There are definitely weird beauty products here too (the ELF magnetic mask? so cool and weird haha). I would definitely never want to offend anyone and definitely try to research everything :)

The Innisfree Volcanic Clay mask also comes in a pump! So much more sanitary n i prefer the consistency and formula on the pump one than the jar one. It spreads better :) give it a go!

I think it would be awesome if you got into contact with a Korean person to find out and test products that are actually popular in Korea! A lot of websites that sell K-beauty products show you what's popular internationally, but not necessarily what's popular in Korea. You could set yourself apart by actually showcasing these products and testing whether they work for "non-Korean" consumers as well! :D That Too Cool For School powder is the most well-known contour powder here in Korea, and 3CE also really popular here! :)

If you want a Matt finish with coverage, please try the Hera black cushion! Thy came out with the foundation as well. I have dry skin but I don’t find it too drying. It makes your skin so beautifully matte!

I love that Cosrx cushion, I don’t notice much about the skincare benefits, but the coverage is pretty flawless. Whatever I blend on top of it tends to blend beautifully, too. Besides that, I love 3CE in general. Their soft lip lacquer are some of the best, and most comfortable liquid lipsticks out there. 3CE’s eye shadow palettes are also amazing! Also their matte lipsticks, blushes, and velvet lip tints are great!

I love the jeju mask! It doesn't take off all of the moisture out of my skin. Other clay masks make you can't smile while you're wearing it, but this one doesn't! Amazing. I bought 1 w my bf and we put it in my house to use it together when he comes over but I keep using it alone cos I love it so much haha

I am just looking into Korean and Japanese brands and so far I love all. I prefer liquid and cream products lately, ever since I passed the 40-year-border (but I am 25 in my head, okay!) because they simply look more natural and prettier on older (and/or textured) skin. My tips: the cookie blushes from Etude House, the cream blushes from Sugarball (I just found them cheap on eBay, but Yesstyle has them too)I can also recommend the Holika Holika liquid blushes. They look awesome: exactly like a nailpolish bottle, including the brush that you use to apply the liquid blush. I have Peach Milk. I currently use the aloe vera face mist from Innisfree and a toner from Esfolio, but have seen Innisfree also has creamy blushes in a tube and Esfolio has plenty skincare. Would love to see more makeup of those or skincare. Anything liquid or cream you test out (bronzer, blush, highlight) would be perfect!

Omg I have been so obsessed with Korean blushes as they are so bendable and some of them are even pore refining, I have ordered a ton recently and I also like not super pigmented blushes. I recommend the A'pieu blushes as well as the Etude house cookie blushes they are like so cheap and so good, its crazy!

I have really been loving a cushion by the brand some by mi called killing cover moisture cushion 2.0 uv protection, whitening, and anti wrinkle. I have combination skin w/large pores that is ance prone and this cushion doesnt break me out. It has a natural finish and wears beautifully with powder. Light feeling with surprisingly good coverage that is buildable. Will be my go to for summer. Highly recommend :)

You've probably had good use out of Innisfree's volcanic clay mask by now, if not, it's amazing, and I hope Jeju island never runs out because this is my holy grail! I've been raving about it to everyone I know and it's become their HG too. As for blushes, have you heard of Saemmul? It's by the Same brand (on yes style too) and they're super affordable, incredibly pigmented and great value. I just got two of the Saemmul blushes from the Roserose shop online recently because Yesstyle never restocked the Pumpkin Latte and Trench Rose colours. Etude House's cookie blushes are super affordable and lovely too, but not as long-lasting, pigmented nor as finely milled as 3ce's blushes.

I'm also waiting for a YesStyle order with the Kose Suncut Essence sunscreen! And oh the Kose Deep Cleansing Oil I was not a fan. I used mine up but it's THICK. I found it hard to wash off if I used more than one pump, but it did the job. I'm using the Tony Moly Apricot Cleansing Oil I got from Sweetcorea (for like 6$ !!!) and it's much better 😍 And please do an update on everything! Yesstyle reviews are just not the same 😂 There are SO MANY things I'm interested in hearing more about

I suggest K Palette liquid eyeliner (1 Day Strong Waterproof version) and they last through my entire duty hours in the hospital. I use it everyday and I swear it can stand both sweat and tears. Haha!

@@beautywithemilie Also not to be an enabler buuut I have some asian blush recommendations: Holika Holika Jelly Dough Blusher, 16brand 16 Cheek Shot, Bbia last blush, Cezanne and Canmake ones. They're all affordable and on yesstyle! A little less known save for the Canmake. :) And as for mascara any of the Essence Get BIG Lashes! They're all getting good reviews and I've liked every Essence mascara I've tried so far. I'm thinking of picking up the volume&curl one.

Yes I am slighter darker than NC20 and I ordered the Cushion in #23 and it is too yellow and dark for me. Bear in mind that they do oxidize a bit so even more darker after a couple of hours.

i would love to know if anyone has tips on doing cat eyeliner on small eyes with not much visible lid! i always end up with two line things that look like tick marks going up on one side and down on the other..!
