I'm obsessed with the OLEHENRIKSEN lip treatments. They've since come out with more scents. The cocoa one has the least amount of fragrance, caramel has the most, but I love the strawberry version because it has the best formulation/fragrance balance. Can't wait to try your other top suggestions!

The Etude Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask is the most long-lasting overnight lip treatment I've ever used, speaking as a fellow lip balm addict. It's not for the faint of heart, I would compare the texture to superglue because it's very sticky. So sticky that it's too uncomfortable to wear during the day. With that one very large caveat, it is the only overnight lip treatment I've ever used that actually lasts all night. You can still feel it on in the morning, and you can remove that stickiness immediately in the morning by rubbing in any lip balm or general ointment.

The Clinique Moisture Surge Lip Treatment has been a favourite of mine for the last 3 years. It’s the only thing I apply on my lips right before going to bed. The texture is so thick, it stays in place all night long and it’s fragrance free! It keeps my lips soft, supple and hydrated and a little goes a long way so each tube lasts a few months. I highly recommend it! Don’t hesitate to cut the tube when it seems empty to get every last drop of it. 😊

Lanolin is the best. Hands down. Unfortunate regarding the allergy. I prefer lanolin nipple cream, since it's twice the product for the price. Exactly the same, just marketed for breastfeeding mothers.

I just buy pure deodorized lanolin and pot it in smaller containers for use on the lips. Bonus is there's plenty left for cuticles, feet, etc. That's the most economical of all. Make sure it's deodorized, because you don't want to smell like a barnyard or taste it on your lips 😁😆

EADEM is my #1, Ol’Hendrickson #2, Summer Fridays, #3 If it doesn’t smell good it’s out even if it’s one I like the consistency. I work in the ER and I have have a lip product that I can carry around and that I can put on my lips like lip balm or gloss it depends on my mood. There’s something about me wearing a glossy and shiny lip! 💋 Don’t get me wrong I love my lipstick and I do wear my balms over them but I need a mirror for my lipsticks so I touch them up on my breaks and lunch but the rest of the time is balms. I always have to have something on my lips. Girl thanks so much for testing all these out. I learned a lot. What about glosses? I suppose you already did a video. 😊 Take care and be safe out there. I can’t even describe it the cinnamon roll one she droped for her bday like it was the nastiest thing granted I fell asleep with it on and it’s a shimmer? Maybe that’s the issue with that one?! I don’t know I’m new to the brand, love it but it has isssssueeee it’s my favorite skin and lip products thus far for me the skincare works so good, I’m a dry girl really my only skin issues is dryness that skincare line is a dream for me and those lip peptides are so good so addicting lol I’ve always been a vaseline girl or lineage … but when I went on a binge bought everything (the skin care kit, and a few of the lippies) hands down for me best lip products… I loved the way they felt on my lips I loved the shine and the feeling after if fadded off.. And then I got the gritt the bad tasting one and I’m like what is happening 😩 it was perfect the first few days I was in love but then I was horrified I’ve reached out and they haven’t helped. At all. One OUT OF ALL 4 was good…. ONE. Yet because I live in a cold area and everything is dry I kept reaching for it and now it’s gone…. So for the price and how much you get?! Really pisses me off i’ve also noticed that the skincare products are not as full as they could be… At all… again what the f! They work so well together, but you can feel that they aren’t full and you will need a refill if using twice a day, (sorry back to the lips) I don’t understand! As a fellow lip balm lover (since the 1990s) and also a lover of Vanilla (Vanilla Lip Smacker was my OG fave in the 90s), your reviews are so helpful! Do you have SPF lip balms you recommend? I like to have a lip balm option with SPF. My favorite for over the last 10 years is called Jack Black. My favorite is the Natural Mint but I am a mint lover. I have gone through dozens of these over the last 10+ years and wanted to share. I have allergic reactions to so many different sunscreens but Jack Black has always worked great for me. Sharing also for anyone who wants/needs SPF options for lip balms.

I found that most of the lip balms that had castor oil higher up on the ingredient list cause the lips to feel more dry and irritated. I’m not sure if it’s and allergy or if castor oil is meant to be more of an occlusive instead of a moisturizer.

I’m so happy to find someone with the same considerations when it comes to lip balm (ie being actually moisturizing should be the first filter even for tinted ones)!! Moisturizing but too slippery ones are also an unfortunate no (eg Tarte juicy lip). Anddd I’m (also) allergic to beeswax & intolerant of lanolin (and mint). 😅 My lips chap so much that I’ve given up lipstick (in all forms) altogether and stick to tinted lip balms (with watery lip tint under if I need more color). I cannot sleep without Laneige lip mask (I’ve brought it to the surgery room with me when I had appendectomy 😂) - I even top it with lip oil sometimes. But for day time use that I can reapply repeatedly (must be truly moisturizing or my lips will have a layer of white skin after a few hours), my faves are also Naturium & Ole Henriksen. Since Eadem has tinted variants too, will check it out for sure. Hope you can make a vid on tinted lip balms in particular. Difficult to balance enough color and moisture (Naturium for me has the best balance so far). A Korean brand AOU has potential (more coverage), but my chap-prone lips need a bit more moisture.

So weird how so many have issues with rhode being grainy! It’s been my favorite since it launched and I’ve never had a grainy one. I’ve gone through at least 20 and not once. I’ve tried vanilla, strawberry glaze, watermelon, and unscented. Never had an issue! The tinted ones aren’t grainy for me either!

It is DRY this winter in Colorado (as per usual) and my lips really need this right now😂 My favorite is the aquaphor stick form of lip balm but it works better at preventing my lips from losing moisture to the ever liquid sucking air than providing it, so with my lips being as mummified as they are rn there's not much it can do for me 😂

Hi Abbey! This is such a dedication for the lippie lovers especially on the lipbalm that I've been looking forward to watch. For the Face Shop FMGT Lip Care Cream Treatment, try the Mango flavor and the texture is bit thicker and almost like creamy lotion viscosity in it however it's not that shiny IMO. I used it every night and my goodness, it feels my lips are ready for the lipstick!

Thank you so much for testing out all these lip balms in a squeeze tube. Naturium is nice and thick with a subtle vanilla scent. Only problem is the packaging. Related: the Tatcha lip treatment with wakame has given me such an amazing plumping and conditioning result! (not the kissy overnight mask, which I also love, and have at times layered on top of the treatment before sleeping for an extra oomph)

The Dionis one is amazing. I had it in my stash and my previous balm (Dasique fruity lip balm) wasn't protecting my lips in the colder air to the point they were flaking. Two applications of Dionis fixed them. Plus it smells incredible.

I swear by my combo that I stumbled upon. I use ELF lip oil and top with pale pink mentha from B and B W. I love this combo! Hydration, super smoothing, no balling, staying power. Win, win, win, and beautiful pale color!

This is amazing, I'm such a lip balm fan and this must have been so much work! I've always been so intrigued by your love of the Laneige one though, I'd say it feels so much thinner than something like the Neutrogena or Torriden. It's glossy and pretty but only lasts a few minutes on me and I think it's a little drying once it's worn off. I wonder if there are differences in flavors because I've never tried the vanilla.

You should definitely try Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask. Comes in a little pot with a gold applicator. I'm on my third already. Best I have ever used!!

I loooooveeee the smell of the peach Peach & Lily lip balm!! It's like subtle peach-tea with a hint of softness (soft like vanilla... but not actual vanilla scent if that makes ANY sense - I'd say true vanilla is soft and perfume-y, this is just soft which is why I likened it to tea). It goes on thick a juicy, and has a slight waxiness that LASTS so long - over night, all day, through meals etc. It has be amazing for my chronically super dry lips and I have a fragrance allergy, no issues with this one. Just a second opinion in case anyone was considering. Thanks for making such an in-depth video Abbey, I can't imagine the hours that went into this!!

Just bought the Leneige balm and I can see why you love it, sooo smooth and shiny ❤ Another balm I love is Clearstem’s lip and cuticle balm…smells like Orange-sicle…not super shiny but feels nourishing
