Robert, you are finally doing something I do. Going after animals with handguns. I harvested my first proghorn buck, first elk with my BFR in 44 mag. 109 and 40 yards. I got one whitetail doe with it as well. I used my single shot Remington XP 100 in 6.5 creed as well on 4 animals and all that this year. I exclusively hunt with handguns, when it comes to firearms, since I began hunting 4 years ago. Congratulations on your harvest!

If you want to use butter that would not burn use ghee which is clarified butter which has all of the solids taken out of the butter and it has a nutty flavor and aromatic.

Rob I love you and your family man. I've been watching your videos for god knows how long now, probably since I was 19 or 20 and I'm 25 now. Grew up and still live in the Seattle area in the PNW, sadly I don't really have the opportunity to do what you do too often but I aspire to some day. My grandma passed away back in the summertime of this year and with the way she grew up, you have always reminded me a bit of her, she was a very important part of my life. Watching your videos always puts a smile on my face, appreciate and love what you, your family, and your friends do brother. You're an inspiration to many, god bless you.

I'm going to put this out there, and I know I probably want get a response, because I have posted about this location before, but here goes! That is the same place we stay at when we go on our annual crappie fishing trip! The creek behind you when you were on the deck is Haw Creek! The cabin is located on the C&C Catte Ranch Burnell Fla. Haw Creek runs into a canal (we call The Narrows) that connects Cresent Lake and Dead Lake together! We are usually there around the 1st or 2nd week in February! It is an awesome pace because of it's location! I love it!

That deer took a 500 mag shot and ran. That is impressive. That handgun is gorgeous. Custom firearms are always amazing. I have some family heirloom rifles that my family used in the civil war that I heard they hunted with out west. I want to restore them and try hunting with them soon.

Just finished having some canned venison with veggies on a wrap for lunch, enjoy the cooking aspect of your show also. If you slow down the footage at 11:45 to .25...You can clearly see Austin was correct, just behind the shoulder. You can even see the bullet traveling and the entire side of the buck being impacted, yet it still ran away. Those deer are SUPER tough OMG!
