@@FoodTech4U "Drying at high pressure occurs at a lower temperature" Isn't this statement about drying? If so , how vacuum evaporation occurs at reduced pressure ma'am. I mean the vapour pressure of compound must be higher than the surrounding Vapour pressure for evaporation to be done , thats why we reduce pressure on vacuum evaporator right?! So if the surrounding pressure is higher the temp must also be higher. Isn't?

There are two scenarios to consider: 1. In a controlled environment, where both temperature and pressure can be maintained, increasing the pressure will reduce the temperature requirements. 2. In an open area where pressure cannot be controlled, the temperature requirements will be higher. Pls apply Henry's law and pV= nRT formula.
