Damn I love both trucks. In the 84 , I started buying brand new squares and making them mine. Sold everyone at a profit , 2wd and 4wd . I was buying at Jerry's Chevrolet in Weatherford, Texas , couldn't keep a truck for more than 3 months, always bought red , black , or white , can't go wrong, sold them at a profit , because made them desirable, big lift kits and tires on the 4wd and slammed them on 2wd , I finally bought a damn Ford so I could possibly keep a driver and it sold at profit. So I built a 64 c 10 and did the whole frame off build and when finished couldn't refuse the offer from someone that wanted it more than me. Bought myself a brand new 1989 red short bed 2wd , and refused to sell it , until someone offered more than I could replace it with brand new one . I love square body's. The ultimate truck in my opinion

Idea for new video! Set up a pic-nic in a 25 acre bean field, and then tell your wife and her friends, that they can drive " Boise the Burb" all over that bean field just as fast as they want! Two rules, one, no sharp turns. Two,...you have to have an open beverage while driving or riding in the Burb! P.s. If the field is wet, it adds a new factor of fun!

From Corey: Yeah no prob! Its from an early 2000s Silverado with a 4.8 which you could get with a manual. Its also the 4.8 clutch and flywheel. I used the 2002 Blazer throwout bearing that would have been used with the NV3500. I had to drill a hole on the clutch pedal for the rod and I made my own adjustable rod. He sent pictures too. we both have OD transmissions - mine is a 4l80 with a 3.42 rear gear. 2350 at 80 mph. Rick is 4.10 gear with 4L60 and is around same rpm.
