5:44 you got a Type 1 buffalo nickel, so it’s automatically a 1913-D T1. Nice!

Yes. There was no need to acid date that coin. You permanently damaged that coin unnecessarily. If you study the 1913, Type I variety, it will start to become very easy to spot. Still enjoy all of your videos. Happy Hunting.

I figured it was a 1913, but wanted to show it for the audience that doesn't readily know the difference. I have about 20 non-nic-a-dated 1913s from a buffalo dump I got at a bank 3 years ago.

Another awesome video. You do seem to find a lot of the business strike S mint. About 6 years ago I just bit the bullet and did the subscription for the P D S business strikes. I've just completed the business strike sets from 99- now. I wish I could afford the silver as well. Is there a folder option for the business strike clads only ? Cheap ? Great video as always.

Honestly no idea about the pre made folders. You could probably find a dansco or Whitman quarter folder with no labels and make your own.

Great hunt as always. I have a question tho I was looking through quarters. I got three silvers, but I also found 8 gold looking quarters I tried researching them couldn’t find much they’re all from like the 2006 and 2004 era just wondering if you knew anything about them. There like gold plated. They are sold as souvenirs. Sparkly new for $8-$12 most coin shops. In circulated / worn condition not sure if they are worth more than a quarter. Nice job finding 3 silver quarters. I have I think 2 on the year.

No idea but it would be considerable. The album and pages alone are $35-45. With the silver, the proofs, the key dates. I would list it at a pretty high price.

So, I got 1000 worth of dollar coin rolls today..... about 600 of them are in MS 65+ or better from what I see. Not sure what to do with them... they are the presidents, and the native American, not about to try to spell her name.... not sure what to do.... lol 75 of those are bank (if not rolled by the mint themselves) rolled Washington, Jackson and Lincoln....

They were circulation quality coins minted in San Francisco but were made solely for collectors and sold by the mint. They aren’t supposed to be in circulation. It wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t sell too well and the mint release some of their stock into circulation though. I find too many of them for it to be random collectors buying them for a premium and then spending them as quarters.
