Definitely hold onto those 2024 D nickels if you or anyone else finds them. Only 32.8 million were minted so they’re a key date coin and they’re selling for at least 3/5 dollars but I seen them go for 6+ bucks on eBay. The value will increase overtime, but I’d also hold onto any of the other 2024 coins. I only have found 4 2024 pennys last year ( they’re also likely low mintage ) and some quarters but I’ve yet to find them all.

I’ve also been trying to hunt some rolls lately but the most rare find that I’ve got was a 2009 D nickel, however the one I found was in really great condition with some nice toning. so I was surprised finding that in a coin roll considering of how tough they’re to find. I only have found 2 2009 nickels so far, and the other one I’ve is the more rarer 2009 P. Also, I forgot to add this but with the 2024 dimes, they’re all not intended for circulation so those would be so hard to find.

I actually prefer bank rolls for nickels. But sometimes the cust wraps work out. When I first started then channel I got like 8 rolls of buffalo nickels and like 2-3 rolls of war nickels.

Nice hunt GA! Those hate comments are just from salty people who havent found anything because they searched one time 😂 this hobby takes a ton of time patience and luck. I just got a solid roll of silver dimes while picking up my halves but that doesnt shoe the $1k plus in dimes i went through with nothing! I hope you find a ton this year🎉

I know. I get them in every video. Mostly I let them roll off me, but some people just keep coming back. Full roll of silver from the bank is awesome. I have never gotten a full roll yet. A few times I have gotten multi-silver, but never a full roll. one day!

@Chesapeake: In response to your comment, I remember at work back in the late 60's and 70's, some other fellow employees and I would periodically check our pocket change and it seemed then that 1964 nickels were common; well more than common, they were ubiquitous. I remember a fellow worker saying one day that, " They ( The 1964 nickel ) will NEVER be worth more than 5 cents ". We certainly don't find as many today but they are still far from extinct.

That’s awesome. Can’t be mad at a V nickel I had 12 in a box once, that was wild. A month ago I was owed 5 cents in change from CFA, and it was a decent 1904. Got some weird looks when I asked if there was any more in the drawer.

Great finds! The 1983 nickel which you said was a grease strike is severe die deterioration IMO. Additionally, you probably already know this but for the other commenters: there are some super great DDOs and DDRs on the Women's quarters listed on Variety Vista (the Mary Edwards Walker DDR goes for nearly $100 on ebay).
