Hello Mike. I've just seen the Mad Max Miata on the DRIVETRIBE. So you are the Kiwi, and after searching on the web, I read about the Japanese article featuring all the great cars. So you're pretty well-known guy. BTW, is there any way to have the regular Miata to have it this high for the road without the possibility of running that fast? I mean to make a Miata SUV kinda car for my wife for her daily use? She like the MX-5 but she said is too low for her. If you can offer a printed plan with the photos and or on DVD, I believe there will be many who wants to buy a copy. There are plenty of used MX-5 and the only challenge will be to deal with the Japanese DMV which will be our problem to be solved. I used to have an RX-7 with the peripheral port tuned engine with extra-long intake for the torque but it didn't work much.

Honestly i wish more people wouldnt be afraid to do cool stuff like this. I got a shitter that shits and gets. And I see lifted miatas with offroad tires and it fits well. I just wanna do the same buts its an old hyundai Accent. I wanna scrao the fenders and just get some aluminum and just chuck the old suspension and drop in some fresh wheels tires suspension and a new drive train just keep the body and send it. Maybe a turbskie. If i really wanna try.

I'm legitimately surprised at how composed that thing appears to be. 200 hp that might change but, simple adjustments would fix that. Get that k swap done my friend, I'll see you at the gambler this year!!!! I got a '89 Thunderbird turbo coupe I'm prepping to kill the first 9 miles!! I'm afraid I'll get shit for the quality of work. I'm too much of a perfectionist to half ass shit. You'll never hear "good enough" come outta my Head. So I named it the fartpigeon because my farts sound like thunder and scare my dogs and pigeon are birds. See what I did there?? Not funny at all I know. I still have my old ranger from high school I rolled 4 times trying to jump this double at a Moto track because it has badass camburg long travel suspension and I knew I'd find something to glue the shit on. So, the fartpigeon got camburg long travel suspension off a '94 ranger. I put WAAAAAAY too much time and effort into it it's actually done right. Then I put weisco pistons and eagle rods, all new bearings, re-sealed the engine, and threw the Gen 1 Disco potato i had on my old s4 at it with Holley management. Just getting my manifolds done and she's ready for the rattle cans. Gonna be blacked out like everything I own. If I don't overdrive the thing and destroy it in the first 10 miles it should be fairly competitive.
