Please let Gordon know that it was a pleasure to watch a proper craftsman doing that work.... Just like watching my Father, who was an A Grade Certified Ford Mechanic... And your head cover you restored, with the revamped timing cogs.... lovely jubbly....🤙🙂🇳🇿✅

I just can't get over the amount of genius in this video.. from the ingenuity of inventing the engine in the first place, to the wealth of knowledge contained in Gordons head! I'm 42 and would love to be given an apprenticeship regarding engineering! Super interesting! Thanks gents!

5k used to sound like loads. Now it just sounds like a medium sized bill after Covid been and gone and F’d used prices and garage availability and garage bills. Seams cheap for major engine work. Nice series.

Nice to see using a proper stem seal tool. You can use a socket, but high chance it distorts the top of the seal = smokey cosworth.

Great video adam, I do enjoy these in depth videos it gives me a greater understanding of what's going on, I started a job as apprentice vehicle technician and in the 4 months of doing that I've learn more by watching 2 of your videos than I was ever taught by this so called mechanic with temper problems that was supposed to be teaching me, unfortunately or fortunately which ever way you look at it the job didn't work out for me so videos like this are what I'm learning from as I'm unable to find anyone willing take a chance on a mature learner

thought you might have upgraded the cams on it,have you not thought about putting it in your three door then rebuild that engine overtime, better than leaving it about sitting, plus you will have the more powerful engine in that car.

I would prefer to buy a cheaper engine and go through it correctly and have a fresh engine than buy an engine twice the price that’s meant to be fresh build with upgraded parts and to still go through it to determine if it is been built correctly and to check for corrosion
