Let me know what you think of this longer, less edited version of the video please fellas. Would you father this 1 hour long video, or edited down to 10-15mins?

Love these longer videos so we can deep dive every process. Gordon is an absolute craftsman, more of him please and you have to get him in the car this engine ends up in!

Shame is, there are not many Gordon's coning through the pipeline picking up on his skills. Kids these days don't want to get their hands dirty. Good job there is the likes of Adam, willing to make a go of it. Good on you Adam 👍More vids with Gordon and his Jedi engineering skills.

An hour long video sounded like at lot but Gordon is clearly knowledgeable and very good at explaining things and demonstrating what he is doing. Kept my interest the whole way through 👍Also, you are very good at filming details of someone's work Adam, and letting people talk about what they are doing without interrupting their flow.

Thanks to Gordon for agreeing to go through the process on camera showing how much work actually goes in to getting these engines refreshed. Cheers Adam.

Great video it’s very interesting how the cosworths are rebuilt and the parts used nowadays compared when I owned these cars thirty years ago Like bmw piston oil jets in the block and not longer wire ring the piston as the victor, Ryan head caskets are so good now That’s years of learning on these type of engines

I bought a thermal arc ac/dc tig welder years ago. Would not be without it.
@eliotmansfield11 ай бұрын
tig welding is far easier than mig - because when mig starts going wrong you can only add more weld to get out of a problem, whereas tig is like gas welding or even soldering where the heat and filler are separate

time serts are 100% better than helicoils, I replaced all the 6mm cam shafts threads with these. but as anal as I am I tapped all holes and did the counter bore on the Bridgeport so I could guarantee they were dead square. I've been a toolmaker for over 40 years but I still prefer not to tap by hand if I can help it. Love Gordons work shop, takes me back.
