Having a safe sidewalk on busy street keeps everyone safe. I wonder how long has the sidewalk been like that for. Dirty drains causes more weeds. So many living there but the community should have volunteer cleanup committee - so all their kids can have a safe sidewalk to play and use.

A type of shovel here in the US is referred to as a round point. Which is what you are using. However a square nose would work better for the type of shoveling you are doing. Try one. Also keep up the wonderful work you do!

Could you encourage local communities, to take their gardening tools out on weekends and clean a bit of their own place, to keep the children safe. It doesn't need to be done at your pace, just a section per weekend, or once a month, even hlf of the path isbetter than not being able to use any. will make a big difference over time. Maybe they can keep the sections you have done already, clean and free of weeds? Preventative maintainence, is easier to do, than a full clean up job. They won't have to wait for you to come to their community. Your city doesn't seem to be small. Thank-you whether you do this with or without pay, you do a valuable service.

Родителям детей, которые бегают по дороге, наплевать на них и их безопасность. Ведь можно переодически жителям выходить и наводить порядок ради себя и своих детей, если властям на это наплевать.
