It has 235/40/18 Toyo R888's with a E34 BMW 3,46:1 rear diff and a custom R154-based sync gearbox. The speed is Racelogic verified as I'm sure you noticed one in the windshield.

That's 1015hp with 98E gasoline, 1201hp with E85 ethanol. As said in the video. And obviously crank hp as it's an engine dyno...

There's a link to the racelogic file in the video description And as I said, it's a custom R154, with custom gears. The 5th gear is 0.824:1 and rear diff is 3.46:1. Rev limit was 8600 if I remember correctly.

Toyo R888 235/40/18 is 25.5in, rear end is 3,46 and 5th gear is 0.824 because gearbox is not standard. Rev limit is 8600 rpm.

Amazing job on this mk3 Supra! Congrats! May I ask why you changed the mk3 stock rear differential? Is it because you wanted the higher gear of 3.4? Or you thought it wouldn't handle the power? Also the R154 you custom built, does it have MC parts inside or only custom parts. I can notice custom gears, like shorter 2nd gear ;-) If you want to talk private you can email me. Maybe some test drives in a few weeks, but not yet. The engine is still in pieces for a few days. But there will be heavy modifications to come ;)

How do you approach the head gasket issue with building a 7m? I want to stick with the 7M GTE and aim for 700 horses, but everyone tells me to just get a 2jz. Do you have to frequently replace the head gasket to enjoy one of these engines at high power?

that 3.46 bmw diff is not a direct bolt on swap ring? did you did any modifications to put the rear and pinion to the MA70 supra diff housing?

Yes, it has welded on adapter flanges for both the pinion and the drive shafts.

It has the whole BMW diff, not only the internals.

you are using stock r154 or w58? what so you think about t56 on a 7m? what pistons and rods are you using?

a w58 would have shattered into pieces in the first 60ft. Even fully built marlin crawler r154's usually break well below this power level. Has to have billet gears inside or something to hold this kind of power. The t56 or cd009 from a 350z are seeming to be the go to trans to swap in the mk3 these days. t56's are expensive but hold tons of power, the cd009 is about a 1/4 in price and can still hold 800-1000hp. But there is two versions of that trans, and the later models had upgraded synchros. Either way, both these trans swaps will cost well over $4-5K before the car moves again. Hope this help you out.

Are you still using an R154? Sounds like you need a taller final drive as your bouncing off the limiter way short of the mile marker. Very impressive that you stuck with the 7M.

It's not hitting the rev limit. It's a highly modified, fully built R154

Rear end is 3.46. It's not the stock mk3 diff.

Thanks. well not to take credit away from the video. i can see the car was moving. But from what i know since i to race mine in the mile. with the tires size, transmission and gear ratio, the car shouldnt be able to go that fast. with a 25.5in tall tire, and 3.9 gear ratio, with the R154 the car should Max out in 5th gear at 8500 at 219mph. if you dont want to release, you can email me, just looking for some info
