"I bet the lines to the men’s room at their shows are really long" - I've always thought something similar about a lot of the virtuoso-type guys - it always just feels like 99.999% of their audience are guitar players, and 'music' is often secondary to guitar playing, in it's most technical sense. This is why I admire Uncle Larry and his playing so much; we all know that you have absolutely monster chops, but EVERYTHING that you do is musical and serves the song you’re playing on, which is the biggest compliment you can give someone’s playing in my opinion.
