Man, love the opening jam. Later in the video when you said “is it OK if I just play today “? It was like you read my mind. I was like. “hell yeah! “. Totally killing it today, Tom! Completely agree with you about the five positions switch, regarding two and four. I have a Strat with five very useable positions, but live. I just find that 2/4 just get eaten up in the mix, especially four, due to the darkness, as much as I like it in isolation when I’m at home. On that particular strat I love neck, middle or bridge live as the bridge is super fat on that particular Strat, almost telecaster like. But man, live the middle pickup by itself is something so special and underrated these days.

Love when Uncle Larry busts out the bass for his loops….hey u know what I stumbled upon one time while tinkering with my strat, since I like getting high off solder fumes and all, removing the middle pickup from either tone controls, so if u have the lower one to the bridge rolled off a little and the upper one rolled off a bit for the neck, the 2 and 4 have a fighting chance at chime, pretty cool sometimes, but mine ain’t no lake placid blue from the mid 60s that’s for sure
