Hi andy another great vlog lovely ship the company has bought another ship in leith so there will soon be two of them, the blackpudding could be stornoway blackpudding it is very popular in scotland and far better quality, steak looked good as well aberdeen angus best there is anyway enjoyed the vlog on a sunday morning will look forward to the next one well done.

Hello you two, wanted to Thankyou for taking time out to send us a card. It is very much appreciated and was a lovely surprise arranged by our daughter and yourselves. A very Happy Christmas to you both and hope to meet up on a cruise in person perhaps next year in the Eastern Med in September. Keep the blogs coming they are great entertainment. At first glimpse I thought it was the Royal yacht Britannia you were visiting so it was great to see the accommodation on this one.

Surprised you didn’t mention Fingal’s history of servicing the navigational aids from around Scotland. I remember seeing her sailing around the Western Isles. A very graceful vessel in her day.

QUESTIONS : on the Fingal, you don't say if you were in a Standard Room or Luxury room. I'm thinking of booking for my mum's birthday so just need a better idea. Also these rooms are £400 a night so presuming you got a free night or heavy discount for promoting them ? Honesty is always a good policy :-)

We stayed in a luxury cabin. We've never been given any concessions, discounts or freebies on any of our trips EVER. Everything is bought and paid for at the normal advertised price by us. If only we did! Maybe one day.

No, the ship was decommissioned in 2000 and is now fixed in place. She's in the water, but not floating.

There's a small bar in the restaurant, so you can just have drinks there. No entertainment though.
