Thanks! Have a great time, Ventura is a great ship. It was the first cruise ship we ever went on back in 2011 and also the second in 2012. It's still looking good with some new decor.

Really enjoyed watching your Amsterdam vlog. I have a question. The free shuttle bus from port to Amsterdam, do they run at set times and was it a long coach journey? We are planing on doing a evening in Amsterdam but was unsure if the shuttle buses run that late? I can’t find any information on this.

Hi, I'm guessing you are travelling in from Ijmuiden? It's only a 30-40min coach ride. We think they run a 24hr shuttle service and certainly do run them throughout the evening as a lot of people are out late. We don't know how often they run. Thanks for watching, you'll have a great time!

Fabulous video. I'm on Aurora on 20th October and already pre-booked the Beach House & Sindhu for each week of the cruise. At £7.50 (less loyalty) the Beach House looks amazing value. Sindhu I have been to once before on Britannia and it was blow away amazing. Will try the Glass House too on this cruise. If it's half as good as the Beach House looks I'll have a great evening! Thanks for taking the time to show us your holiday experience :-)

What company do you recommend for a first time cruser?

It's not actually that straightforward to answer, as cruising can be a different experience depending on which line/ship you sail with and how that suits what you're looking for. Assuming you're from the UK, you wouldn't go far wrong with P&O for a traditional style of cruising at a reasonable price. Princess are very similar but cater to a worldwide market, whereas P&O are very British. Hope that helps.

Unable to book any P&O ships from Canada, but found out I might be able to book through an American travel company. Ventura is the same layout as Emerald Princess

There were a few American passengers on this cruise. Don't know who they booked through. Yeah, Ventura is same as P&O Azura too and also the same as a few of the Princess ships. It's a really great layout.
