Great informative video! Do you think this can also start a home generator, my 12v battery has gone completely flat. Can I directly connect the leads of the jumpstarter to the leads of the generator? Thanks.

Hi Jeneric TVPH. That's a great question, but we need to do a little maths before you can directly use this to power your generator directly. I would believe you will not be able to do that. However, you could try and jump-start the battery on the generator.

I purchased this multi function car jump starter few months ago and used it once or twice only and stored back in its box. A week ago when l tried to charge it to jump start my car, it showed a sluggish response while charging the power pack. I was wondering if there is a video on how to repair this jump starter. Or is it's circuit diagram available? Will appreciate if someone can help. Ansari

Sorry Khalil I don't have a circuit diagram. How long did you store it away? Did it fully charge before you used it?

Mine is less than a month old. It's my wife's Christmas present. I have never used it. Today I took it out of the box to take a closer look and to try its capabilities. It's almost fully charged but it only makes the tire air pump work. It does not charge my phones and its flash light doesn't work either. Of course I turn on the power switch before testing. The power indicator does not light up when I turn it on! Any idea how to make it work please?

Sorry to hear that @djstonegr. A friend of mine had a similar experience but he managed to return it within the return period. You need to be careful when buying online from sellers that are not reputable. They could be imitations or fake product that's being passed off as the real thing.

Hi Haytham Nasr Eldin, it should not take that long to charge. Are you using the original charger that came with the Jump Starter? It should take about 2 to 4 hours the most to completely charge it.

Ademuyiwa H. James, when I first purchased it, I charged it for about 2 hours. Subsequent chargings are about an hour or 90 minutes. Believe it or not, the last time I charged it was sometime in October 2020 and when I needed to jump-start a friends car early in March this year, it started. No problems

Do you change the voltage to 19v before jump start the car? I try to press the yellow button but the voltage doesn't changed.

Hi Komander Ahmad, when you want to jump-start your car using this battery pack, you need not select the voltage nor turn on the pack. By connecting the terminals, you have created a complete circuit to now start your vehicle. Please do not forget to subscribe to the channel Komander

@@agnee58 hai agnee, Yes you are right, without switch on the pack, my car panel started to work the moment I connect both clamp to the respective terminal. But then when I want to start my car's engine, it fails to start. The seller told me that I need to select the 19V by pressing the yellow button which I did but the LED indicator still showing 12V. I guess my unit need to be replaced. Anyway thank you for the information.

I would say it is one of the best things I have invested my money on. Not only can I jump-start my car and bike along with friends who need help, but charge my phone and is a form of power source when I ride and camp like charging my phone and power my laptop. I would highly recommend it.

Hi Todor Stamenov, when you are jump-starting your car, you need not turn on the power bank. You should only turn it on for the other purposes and usage.

When I tried to start a car I did not have success. Polarity was correct. The only difference is that I turned the jumper on. Is It for that rason that I failed the car start? Thanks

I have now ,come to realise that not all of the jump-start power pack functions like mine. I have a friend who had also bought one, but he had to turn on the power switch and select the voltage before he could jump-start. This is something the manufacturer need to explain. As you can see from my video, I didn't turn on the power switch nor select the voltage.

If you are jump starting a vehicle or a bike, you don't have to switch the power bank on. It powers directly.

Para encender el carro se debe tener apagado el aparato, solo lo encienden cuando lo quieres usar como lámpara o como cargador USB, pero repito, para encender carros debe tener el switch OFF.
