Hi, looking to buy a Pentax kf, seeing many people say it is basically the same as the k70 but newer and higher price.. for realestate, compared to the canon eos, is it better or worse? I have a deal on eos 80 D used but sadly it is at the same price as the Pentax kf new.. Thank you for the video

Thanks Jason for this interesting video. Soon I will also be compiling a digital photo album of the photos from the past year 2022. I shoot mostly with the Olympus Pen EP-5. A dated camera from 2014. Greetings Marcel

That Olympus sounds like a fun time Marcel! I enjoy taking the old cameras out and getting a unique satisfaction out of them!

it's old, but it's capable. more advanced than the original E-M5, in a number of ways

Those older fujis have a unique image quality compared to the newer sensors. I had a xe2 and loved the image quality. I also had a x100v and could not connect to it.

Once manufacturers reach their performance ceiling for an affordable price, users will start looking back at older models and discover what you just pointed out. Just because a camera is outdated does NOT mean the quality is lesser than a newer model. Image quality is based on the sensor, not some of the new features that make shooting itself easier, but not necessarily better quality images from the 'new' sensor the manufacturer changed to.

I want to buy Pentax camera k10d for 50 €💶 that's about $55 US....body only without a lens as a gateway drug to Pentax dslr world. Would you recommend it ? My xt1😢 broke (dropped it) and I always wanted to try Pentax dslr for like "forever " thanks to your videos about the k70 and the K1000 with Kentmere 100 Black and white film thanks for the inspiration !!!! Randall. T

sorry for the delay, you can't go wrong with any pentax dslr because they are priced so inexpensively when used that they are never a waste of money (unlike some of the old outdated canon/nikons/etc). I would suggest getting the k-70 and if youre a hobbyist it will serve you well forever (or until you kill it, and they're not easy to kill)!
