"50th Anniversary Gala 1974-2024" | Kent & East Sussex Railway

So today we have headed down to the Kent & East Sussex Railway for "50th Anniversary Gala" and what a day it was!
With a filled timetable of home locos and visiting locos we managed to fit everything thing in we wanted. Ticked off a few things today was seeing the U-Class and Brittania in person and working their day.

The team at K&ESR did a grand job of organising the day and making sure everything ran tight to the schedule!
The highlight for me was heading to Roberstbridge (whilst avoiding the trees on the open-top bus) to see Brittania & the newly liveried NSE Class 73 working the short line to Northbridge Street & with within a few years everyone can access the railway via the mainline connection!
