Quick tip. While you are in Cursor chat you can use the @ to tell it to reference files, folders, code, the web, docs, and git repos. In your example, instead of copy and pasting the code. You could have have it reference to the library you were using or saved some code sample documentation of what you wanted to do, and then use the @ in the chat to tell Cursor to include that information. You can also create a .cursorrules file which will have any custom prompts that you want to use throughout the project, and place it tin the root of directory to prime your prompts.

I'm learning video creation right now and put lots of effort into this one - seeing this kind comment 30m after publishing made my day 🙏

Do you remember the SNL “move over!” IT Guy skit? That’s how I feel when I try to get AI to code for me.

didn't know this one, just watched it. SOOO… it means that claude doesn't do what you want :)) I keep having problems with giving him backend stuff, but frontend has a success rate of almost 100%…

@@philkellr it was frontend but it was very interactive and included audio sequencing. Not your everyday app. It would sometimes do this thing where it would fix a bug in one iteration then in a couple iterations later the obvious bug would be back… it has no memory of its previous mistakes.
