It's pretty easy for me to "skate through my hips" when I'm going forward, since my butt pushes my hips forward and I avoid leaning my shoulders forward. How do you do it going backward?

+Noumenon72 You gotta skate back further on your blade when backwards. We skate through our heels. That will bring your hips back under you, and will give you more blade to push with. Let us know if it helps!
