Matt , punching well above your weight here. Just need another 100HP to stay with them in the corners . The BRZ/Toyota 86 really is the modern version of the RX8 , except no room in the back for the kids . I think the RX8 would stay with , if not beat a standard BRZ . There's no doubt the RX8 has a great chassis. Keep up the great videos !

thanks man, i feel like the rx8 still has a superior suspension to the FRS BRZ, and for sure is more practical. i also love the rotary engine character.

@@rx8mattI have noticed you tend to go for rapid steering motions when cornering try to smooth those out as it can help momentum carry better and sorta shift weight and maintain traction in the corners which would improve your exit of the corner making it better to catch up with the BRZ next time you see him you got it for sure >:) smoke him

@tripwire3992 slow is smooth and smooth is fast! Agree, I try to emphasize smoothness to myself, along with looking and thinking ahead. I usually think of myself as "slow hands" driver but perhaps all the autocross I'm doing has sped them up.

@@rx8matt ah! Autocross. Yeah that would make your steering inputs very fast. Good side to autocross is precision you can probably drive a tennis ball through a garden hose and not touch the sides on the way down 😎 your vids are awesome keep it up
