Your correct & also here’s a fact you didn’t know either that this could possibly be the Columbia pictures re-release in the states during the 80’s version OP credits of the film. Because at one point in time Columbia pictures had gotten the rights of all lee’s martial arts films during “1981” hence how fox got the rights to release the films later on for home video from & through the partner ship of CBSFOX.

Return of the Dragon is by far my favorite Bruce Lee movie.. Wondered why sometimes the label it as “Way of the Dragon” ?!?! It was always Return of the Dragon

@Chris Malone as far as I know this was mistakenly marketed as a sequel to Enter the Dragon which it clearly wasn't 😉. The title in Chinese as I heard is "Fierce dragon crosses the river " The river in this case is the Pacific ocean from Hong Kong to Rome somehow ". The opening animation shows that hence "Way of the Dragon.". since I worked in film I know what I speak of hope that clears it up mate. Be safe if you train. Cheers .🙏

Wrong! The Way of the Dragon released in December 1972 in China and then they marketed it as a sequel to Enter the Dragon, six months after Bruce Lee died. Thus being called Return of the Dragon

It’s actually Way of the Dragon. Western releases always made up names cause they think the audience is just dumb and need generic titles. Way of the Dragon refers to the philosophy of Tai Lung in this film, he walks a path of fighting without guns or knives. His fists are his only weapon

Unfortunately the film's extravagant budget did not stretch to the opening credits. More likely it was cobbled together at the last minute with the 1972 version of Pre-windows paint application of some kind. 😅
