HOW DID THIS BLOW UP 2 WEEKS LATER LMAO... anw, this took me few weeks of fishing on my 2nd monitor while i play, eat, work, rest... anything i do, i fish on my 2nd monitor lol this is bc i wanted to farm or save up for my own archboss weapon as a solo player (lol ik, it's pretty impossible) my goal was to hit 1k sacks before opening but it was taking too much time and i knew it was not gonna be worth it (i calculated 50k+ sacks to statistically get 180 fragments) so i just opened everything i had on january 1st

I made the math back in the day, to craft one archboss weapon you needed to use around 146k total baits, in other words, the equivalent of buying the 50 bait box from the vendor for 8 years straight lol

I think the calculation is wrong if you know how to increase the chance of small sacks. For example, small bags can only appear if the silhouette of the fish in the water is small (there are small, medium and large). You also can't get a bag if you see these 2 blue arrows that make fishing easier. As soon as you don't see a small silhouette or the 2 blue arrows appear, you can simply retract the fishing rod and the bait will not be used up. This way you can fish for the bags a little more specifically and your math won't add up 😁

I have tevent GS, dont even bother to get it. It honestly doesnt feel like a big difference at all. It looks cool and ppl comment ur weapon but more than that it is not worth anything like this at all. Even if I could do all this fishing and get it guaranteed I wouldnt.

its a shame.. cuz actually the drop rates on alot of these grindy things was much higher n better.. but bots and botters made them have to turn down or even off, alotta them rewards and stuff for grinding.. like the fishing rewards.. they got tuned down multiple times.. dunno if u have seen the fishing bots.. wierd spider looking things, with so many lines going in and out all at once.. i even feel like they messed up the fishing hot spots.. the new ones they added.. cuz they were common.. but i started always seeing bots at them.. and now u barely find a hot spot anywhere anymore

Fishing is complete waste of time for Fragments. Considering you need 180 frag to craft a weapon, you're better off going with T2 weapons when they release or slowly save the frags from Desert Caravan event (probability of drop again, but way better than fishing)

3 for 500 is crazy… don’t you need 180 fragments just to craft 1 weapon? Even if the arch bosses guaranteed 1 fragment every time they spawned during the weekend, that’s months of grinding, years if rng doesn’t like you

You realize the point of archboss weapons is that they need to be rare so either you get very lucky or you get selected by your guild as a worthy member of having such important loot and if you are a “casual player” then archboss weapons are simply not aim for you in a focused PvP mmo

I have killed many people dual wielding arch boss weps from tev gs/dag combos to tev bow/dag combos, queen B staff/tev bow... list goes on. Learn your class trait your non-archboss gear correctly and play smart and you can take anyone out.

fishing is not worth it and this is exactly why people bot fishing. but either way. they cant make it better because the bots will just be worse and they want people to SWIPE for the arch boss. it is what it is. "farming" 180 tevent fragments is not really possible without the means of an exploit or cheat. bellandir is even worse. double arch bosses just ended and i didnt get a single fragment from even the bosses themselves.
