Wow. So many pop stars dying young, and some are a great loss to music, particularly Freddie Mercury.

These 1980's singers/musicians who passed away may need to be considered for addition to a future memorial list; e.g. • Chris Bailey (lead singer and guitarist of The Saints) (November 29, 1956 - April 9, 2022) Age: 65. • Tina Turner (November 26, 1939 - May 24, 2023) Age: 83. • Renée Geyer (Australian singer) (September 11, 1953 - January 17, 2023) Age: 69. • Sinéad O'Connor (Irish singer) (December 8, 1966 - July 26, 2023) Age: 56. • Bernadette Nolan (lead vocalist of all-girl sibling pop group The Nolans) (October 17, 1960 - July 4, 2013) Age: 52. • Randy Rhoads (American guitarist) (December 6, 1956 - March 19, 1982) Age: 25. • Doc Neeson (singer-songwriter, musician, and lead singer of The Angels) (January 4, 1947 - June 4, 2014) Age: 67. • Ray Sawyer (vocalist and percussionist of Dr. Hook) (February 1, 1937 - December 31, 2018) Age: 81. • Marc Hunter (lead singer of Dragon) (7 September 7, 1953 - July 17, 1998) Age: 44. • Greedy Smith (vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist of Mental As Anything) (16 January 16, 1956 - December 2, 2019) Age: 63. • Malcolm Young (guitarist, songwriter and co-founder of AC/DC) (6 January 6, 1953 - November 18, 2017) Age: 64. All of them had hits in the '80s ... may they R.I.P. 😇😇 **** plus any others that I may have missed.

Many musicians has passed on over these decade's but their music still go on for all the people who loved their music. I loved the late 60's thru the 90' s I started listening to these band's and musicians at a very young age and still love all these bands that I have listening too over the year. People die which is sad but they have left behind something for everyone is their music for us to remember them as we listen to their music.

Saw Big Country (Stuart Adamson) and Climie Fisher(Rob Fisher) both at a Sport Aid Concert in 1988 in Hillsborough Park, Sheffield, England. Big Country still ranks as one of best gigs ever whilst Climie Fisher were boo’d off for miming to a “House Music Mix” of their hit where Rob Fisher tried to mime to samples of house music records mixed with the original version of Love Changes Everything.

@@eightiesmusic1984 That is correct. Paul Young (former lead vocalist of _Mike + The Mechanics_ as mentioned in the video clip) is deceased and should not be confused with solo artist Paul Young who is still alive; he had a handful of hit singles (between 1983 and 1985) including "Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)", "Love of the Common People", "Come Back and Stay", and "Every Time You Go Away". 😎
