I'm going to use it for a puzzle that I found online that is hilarious. Basically the players get to a room with one lever in the center and multiple orbs and magic circles around. The massive stone door in the front are gonna be closed with three words on top "Courage. Determination. Patience". When they read them out loud, magic numbers will appear in the center of the room counting down from 60 to 0. Whenever they pull the lever it resets back to 60. They are gonna run around the room thinking they have to do sth with the orbs or magic circles but in reality the way to complete the puzzle is to let the countdown reach 0.

Lmfao. I think our DM actually used this puzzle during one of our sessions and we did indeed panic thinking we needed to do something before eventually figuring it out. Didn't take _that_ long but it was still funny xD

I used this on a scene that the players were trapped on a corner with a creature, but they weren't strong enough to fight that creature, instead, they needed to survive TWO minutes without dying in combat with it, this really helped with the immersion.

I used this during a "Skill Challenge" (thanks Matt Colville) with my players who were trying to rescue people from a burning village without succumbing to the flames. I feel it really ratcheted up the tension. Fantastic work.

So my player kinda fuck up...they are in a kind of tank in the middle of the desert over a kobolt city and now more then 1000 kobolt 2 high priwstess a wyverne bio-engienred and with some mechanical upgrade to be able to breath fire chase my party....fun game.
