52 Inch Toshiba DLP TV - Are They Worth Repair (New Bulb)

Does the DLP TV have comparable image quality and refresh rate to a good LCD or Plasma ? Wiki lists a lot of Pro's and Con's en.wikipedia.or...
not sure if I should fix it or junk it., but if all works out it would be a cheap big screen after all
