Whoa... my mind is blown. Triangle chokes are my highest percentage submission, and I've relied on 4 setups, but this.... this has opened up so many possibilities, I am truly overjoyed.

A lot of people don't like sharing their knowledge for one reason or another but I noticed you like helping others. Your moves seem very effortless . That lets me know that you put in a lot of mat time. Keep up the good work Jason.

This video is an excellent reference for newer players who need to explore new ideas as well as a reminder for more advanced players. I have been training for 15 years, triangles are my go to, and this video still helps me maintain my game (as well as gives me new ideas).

These videos are simply unique and very well made. but there are to triangles i have tried and do myself. both are inverted and are from top side position and turtle. The one from sideposition is pretty straightforward and uses the same type of set up as a spinning armbar. go see Eric Paulson's rolled up episode and go to the 20 min mark. all the best

Professor Scully PLEASE PLEASE do a video on re-counters to triangle counters. In particular, what do I do if someone stacks me when I triangle? What about if they turn and kind of shrug the triangle off? And when is it necessary to pull the arm across? Some teachers say that it is not necessary to do it. I

I find the triangle from the back (he's in turtle) more effective if you fall towards the outside, using that same side leg to hook around his neck as you fall for the triangle. By doing so your body is also pushing his arm in place (you hold his head) as you are falling. I like to put my close (to him) leg on top of his back before jumping for the triangle from the dog fight position. I find it to keep him in and the triangle in place.A few of these triangle set ups I have never seen. I love the triangle from guillotine set up.

When my opponent stacks me I normally concentrate on turning my neck to the side (to avoid a neck crank from the mat), and then pull his neck downwards over me with my legs, trying to end up in in a mount triangle. It usually works for me. Have you tried this? If so, does you opponent counter it somehow? I'm interested in this concept too, so let's share some info.
