Marvelous! Anything that Clarence White does is top drawer. And the musicians that play with him are always some of the very best. We lost him way too soon.

I saw Clarence three times. Best guitarist I ever saw and I have seen and played with a lot of them. Parsons was a machinist who brought Clarence's B bender to fruition. I am a guitar player and a machinist. I had a good email conversation with Gene one time about it.

My goodness that was some fantastic playing all around. Clarence was one of the best flatpickers ever. Clarence and Doc Watson both were masters at the economy of motion, I would watch them play and be mesmerized at how their left hand would look like it was barely moving yet all of these beautiful notes were flowing from their guitar. I'm so glad Clarence left us with these recordings. RIP Clarence.

Clarence was such an inspiration to me as we all used to go at place called BJs and other places around the valley and watch ,listen...and pick....very good times...bluegrass days Tragedy hits ,such a loss.....those days out in the desert..were never quite the same....I did,by a chance acquire on a fix and borrow ,one of the instruments involved....it’s a small 5 string birds eye maple banjo made in 1894 in Philadelphia...with a broken neck...beautiful instrument that needed repair....just so happened RexBogue had a workshop up in lake Hughes so I took it him...and thankfully he fixed it ...so I spent most of that year playing it before taking it back.......it is a magic banjo.And was happy to get it repaired.....it’s one of those things that was so special and hope it’s still with the family......

Lee, I was fortunate enough to see Clarence, Skip, Gene, and Roger as the BYRDS in 1970 at a auditorium up here in Green Bay, WI and just kinda walked over by Clarence and was frozen, standing there and watching him play his Tele and thinking I heard a pedal steel sound come from somewhere. It was fascinating. Never forget it. Then we lost Clarence. RIP Clarence. Still remember seeing him on the Andy Griffith show once. Just Great stuff that still runs through my brain. Thanks Lee and Good Morning Maureen and the boys. Have fun today! Doug

After the show she grabbed me and we chased them to a Bobs Big Boy up the street where they were just trying to get some peace . She was a looker , they said please sit down , I was embarrassed , she said ; " this is my friend Henry and he is a great guitar player " ! We all grew up together making music in Brooklyn, N.Y. I wanted to ask you if you play tracks on original songs. I write and produce all of my songs. Along with a few close friends from the sixties, we managed to humbly win a few best song awards at film and music festivals in four countries. My new song would benefit greatly with you on the track, if this is possible. If so, please let me know. We all would be extremely honored! Hoping you and family are well. Getting my second vaccine tomorrow, being totally honest here. I'm kinda scared, second guessing myself if I should. Pfizer, anybody have any adverse reactions to their second shot?
@intuneorange3 жыл бұрын
Don't worry about the 2nd Pfizer shot Everyone I know has lived through it. People seem to have a little more of a reaction on the 2nd shot and they tend to want to sleep a little more and are tired for 2 or 3 days at the most . it's important that you have some reactions because it's telling you that your immune system is responding .your are lucky to take the Pfizer shot .It would be wrong not to take the 2nd dose it was designed that way. I know people who have died of the virus but I don't know of anyone who died from the Pfizer shot
@lelandsklar63633 жыл бұрын
Do it! So important.. even if there was an adverse reaction which is quite unlikely, it is far better than getting sick.
