You and tonkaaaa are the best streamers BBBYYY FFFAAARRR and not just coz of your evident poker prowess and the way you explain your play on each street and all the other nuances and intricacies (pardon my spelling) that are involved in the game, e.g position, levels of thinking, icm and the many variables in the game that u and Tonkaaaa seem to fluently explain with amazing accuracy, I really do believe u deserve all youR results! The people who comment blindly about your great cards and run etc, obviously do not grasp the concept of highlights lolol, I love tonkaaaa but would say the thing that sets u apart is that u laugh at your bad beats etc, keep it up, you are v good pal!
@lisatuckwell61676 жыл бұрын
Everything u say is so accurate! Even if us other mere amateurs, and even most professionals I would think would agree that we would take twenty seconds or so to analyse (again my spelling sorry) the things and correct plays that u manage in under a second, u also have a plan for the whole hand within seconds and u seem to take into account every single thing that has happened up until that point and how that will effect everything else, it really is amazing content and I believe even the people including me who support u don't really grasp how skilled u really are and that u really are above even the other very skilled streamers and poker pros alike!!! Keep it up pal! Seriously u really are number 1!

I’m two years late here, but why is Ac4c a shove from the BB when you’re both over 30bb deep? Like honestly what are we doing risking 82k to win like 6k because reasons?
@kkkkdidikddd90334 жыл бұрын
I think that was little too much raise would be fine but its hard to play that hand If u get 3bet or jammed and maybe he just going for the win balls deep
@ianlovessoccer777 жыл бұрын
such a tilt re enter, also shoving 30ish bigs with a weak ace seems tilt as well, all just to pick up 2 bigs

At 31:15 - why are we shoving 19bb's with 97s. Oh, I get that it's mathematically correct vs the BB, but I just feel that it's an unnecessary risk for 2.5bb's. Again, going purely on Nash, this is the correct play, but I still feel it's unnecessary for so many blinds, but that's just me I guess. As it was, we had great equity and were unlucky - can we fold and look for a better spot? I think so.
@shenkeey7 жыл бұрын
because it's nash correct. its more profitable in the long run, its really that simple. You get folds most of the time, and when called you have 30-40% equity which makes it a slam dunk home run all in. Although I myself would flat there, but this is an unexploitable profitable spot. which means you should take it if there's no icm.
@shenkeey7 жыл бұрын
Better spots is not really something you should worry about. Sure, there are better spots, but taking these profitable spots will pay off more in the long run than folding out and wait for better spots.
@jodyshelley40257 жыл бұрын
Thanks Maran for explaining that. Apprciated.
@theartofcompetition59657 жыл бұрын
the thing is your not even winning 2.5 bbs your maybe winning .01 percent of a bb lol. weight that vs your tournament life... if its a soft table then wait if its a tough table then take very edge you can get vs those guys
@diezelsyndicate5537 жыл бұрын
Jody Shelley when your not particularly worried about losing that kind of money and you get sponsored by random strangers around the world 🌎 going all in is not that big of a deal.

can somebody explain why he didnt call at 26:22 ?
@sander54577 жыл бұрын
Because villain is never bluffing there. If he has a 1 pair hand with A, he has enough showdown value to just check and take it down. there is no need to bet then, cause you will never get called by a worse hand. Lex also holds allot of his cards villain be bluffing with, so that makes a bluff allot more unlikely. He has it here, every time. He is not bluffing in this spot, cause there is no need to. He probb has a verry nutty hand. Even 2 pair like hands he will often just check with allot of showdownvalue. He has it. And this is an pretty ez fold i.m.o. If i need to guess, i think he flopt a straight, but it doenst really matter anyway, were beat.

53:40 3bets 2.8x while being in a push position (29bb total), calls off a 1.6x potsize push on a coordinated monotone board with no backup spade and proceeds to mark villain as a funplayer. Then at least be consistent and mark yourself as tilt
@Juliantjennn5 жыл бұрын
GuthixGriffin Are you joking? Do you realize how many draws are in that shoving-range? Sets right there should never be leading shoves, his opponent could have done the same with tons of hands Lex is beating right there. Would have been a very nit fold
@GuthixGriffin5 жыл бұрын
@@Juliantjennn The draw range has too much equity as well. It's a simple fold

you need that call when you have AT on K10x board when he has AQ. if you could take the beats more professionally you wouldnt have tilted 35 blinds with ace rag suited. still enjoy watching you play, forever a legend getting bluffed by Ivey on HSP and ur bluff montage in that one WSOP main. Good luck in future, no ones a perfect player, just wish as such a veteran of the game and being sponsered you would take the bad beats with more class. we all human so its all good. just expect better from guys like you which is a false and unfair standard, keep grinding LV.
