@@Freimopp777 That's not a definition of a sleeper at all "Sleeper cars are so called because their exterior looks similar or identical to a standard or economy-class car." If you see a cupra mark you know that has nothing to do with economy. With that double exhaust and the body style Any non-car person would probably assume it's a sporty car . Tha main comment doesn't even make any sense, that's like saying wow this audi s3 is a sleeper, everyone thinks it's 300hp but actually it was tuned to 700. Fiat punto with 300hp can be called a sleeper, not a car that was always high performance.

@@aak8297 Some people don't even know what a Leon is, you can show them a picture and they only know the manufacturer, not what model it is. They have no idea what Cupra means, let alone how much horsepower it has, and overall the car looks very subtle, except for the exhaust pipes. The newest Leon actually looks like it has huge exhaust pipes but they are only fake.That does not mean these people aren't driving fast, some of them are tailgating and want to overtake with their diesel E-Class because they think their car is "bigger" and faster.

This is some impressive dedication to a sleeper build. Even the engine bay looks pretty stock if you don’t know what you’re looking at. You’d never expect this thing to have over 500 horsepower

FINALLY a real Information about HP this car has! No lies, just nice hardware mods and a fantastic ecu and tcu. You had cars on this channel with only 50hp less but running 4 seconds slower from 100-200kmh and having nearly the same weight. You knew something was wrong with the numbers the owners claimed..

Lots of owners mention the power without a dyno, they tell you what their tuner says. Like my stage 2 Fiesta ST, Pumaspeed claims up to 250 hp. Had it on the dyno and it resulted in 225 hp. So if I never had it on a dyno I would also say it has 250hp like these people. Basically if you never had the car on a dyno its better to say I dont know how much power it has.

Keep in mind though that the acceleration also depends on the power curve of the engine. A car can have 1000hp peak power near its maximum rev range, but will be slower than a car with way less power which has a clean and constant power delivery.

I like these kinds of reviews. I have a Mk8 GTI Clubsport with the EA888 engine. I wonder what kinds of upgrades/changes they will do to this car, and I am also fascinated by the overall upgradability of this engine as a whole. It's so fun to see what changes there have been with this engine. I would have even gotten the 2021 Leon CUPRA if there wasn't a lack of availability and a massive chip shortage by the time it was released...

I owned a Cupra with a LM440 Turbo and a build engine etc and it was crazy, I loved it. I wanted to upgrade it to an even bigger LM Turbo but then I selled it because I wanted to own a V8 before they die. But sometimes I miss this car so much, especially when I see this Video. Such a nice car and crazy sleeper!

That Cupra is crazy fast, would not surplice me if it's good for 200mph, did not think I would say that about a Leon. And considering it's FWD, in the dry it put it's power down ok, and a sleeper to boot.
