Thank you for sharing the history and the images. My mother was an artist (she passed away a few years ago), so I understand the connection you have with the paintings.

I backed The Kingdom of Outcasts on Kickstarter and couldn't understand why it didn't make it, hope I'm able to purchase one. I love these decks, I have the large and small US Games decks, two of the Picture book of Ana Cortez LTD Editions and both sizes of Oracle of Alchemy and I absolutely love them all, especially the book. I recently gave the small US Games deck to a wonderful friend who loves reading playing cards and she says it's the best she's ever worked with. Been trying to get a book for her but the average cost in the UK for the book is around £100. Brilliant video Ana, the video is a treasure in itself, thank you :) XX

I was going to comment that the velvet deck bag with the skulls was pretty cool, but laughed when you said you weren't gonna do that again. I understand though, I hate ironing too. But the deck bag is still cool, maybe in the future putting stamps can get easier too, so I hope you can save that idea like how you do with many things 😁 and yeah, the Alchemy edition does scare some people, I use it for my readings and they either get scared or love the images. I just treat them like a rollercoaster ride: scary and fun. Thank you for posting this Ms Anna, looking forward to your new book. Please take care. Love and hugs from the Philippines 💝💕

This was wonderful! How interesting to get to hear the backstories. And to get to see the many versions of the deck as it evolved and continues to evolve and grow to this day. I'm looking forward to the Alchemy edition book (!) and the Kingdom of Outcasts deck 👍😁

Thank you Ana! This was a wonderful journey. I really enjoyed it. I’m ready to jump on The Kingdom of Outcasts!! I want one! If I would have known it was on Kickstarter I would have backed it! I would definitely use it for my readings.

I enjoyed this so much! Thank you! I’m only now diving into the decks through Doors of Somlipith being released and completely captivating me, so it is extra special to watch this legacy video. Kudos to you (and your father) for your dedication, perseverance, belief in the dream, and continued efforts to bring some form of this remarkable system/deck into the world. Blessings!

Thanks so much Dara :-)) for your kind words. So happy you are captivated and diving into the Doors of Somlipith! I myself have and continue to be captivated by Somlipith's world!!

@@AnaCortez I'm re-watching this and that 9 Diamonds in the Kingdom of Outcasts is quite powerful - wow. I try not to 'fan-girl' too much but the resonance I feel toward the shifting energies in all these cards and images is astonishing to me, even more now that I've joined your Black Ace Academy and am diving in even deeper than last year.

@@DaraDione Hi Dara. Thanks for your comment. Yes, the drawing you mention is so fantastic. It is something I never saw until after my father's passing.More archiving of these alternative works definitely belongs in the Academy.

Hi Ana. Thank you so much for doing this! It was so informative and entertaining. Honestly, I was eating pizza while watching this as if I was watching a favorite show! I was one of the backers of the Kingdom of Outcasts deck on Kickstarter. I'm still so sorry that didn't work out for you. It was a great idea. I wanted to ask you a question about something you said in the video. You mentioned a book coming out eventually for the Alchemy Edition. Is it a supplemental book to the "Oracle Alchemy" book that's already available? I noticed you didn't show or talk about the "Oracle Alchemy" book, which to the best of my memory, came out around the same time as the Alchemy Edition of the Playing Card Oracles, so I'm just a bit confused.
@AnaCortez4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kelly. DANG. The one thing I didn't cover in this video! lol :-)) The Oracle Alchemy book that's already available is not a companion book for the Alchemy Edition deck. Titles would make you think they are :-) The only companion material for the Alchemy Edition deck up to this point is the PDF booklet, about 14 pages long. "Oracle Alchemy" book is about the art of transformation in card reading, and can be applied to any deck, any way of reading cards. Thanks for bringing this up:-)) and Thanks for all your support over the years!

Hi Ana, I'm wondering if there are any original/early decks available that have the black pattern covering the full back? Or if you might considering releasing an "vintage" deck run at some point? Something about the original cards you use with the full design on the back is really calling to me! Would love a copy! Thanks, Jake

Hi Jake. This is truly a great deck :-) Every now and then there has been a special sale, bringing these back. Sale announcements always in the newsletter. You can sign up at the website anacortez dot com. Thanks for your question!

Goodevening Ma'am, I had a question. How do I dispose/ discard ( sorry I don't know the proper terminology) my playing deck which is old now? Do I burn it? Bury it ? What should I do with the old decks?
@AnaCortez9 ай бұрын
Are you sure you want to dispose of your old deck? I always keep mine, but do as you feel is intuitively right for you.... Burning or burying, ceremony style, sounds fine. A good time would be on the coming Equinox :-))
@reetikaojha17129 ай бұрын
They are actually pretty old and tearing apart... I love my old deck that's why I didn't do anything to them because I didn't want to do something without knowing the right way of disposing them ... I look at them and it makes me a tad bit sad, I don't want to be sad for one of the most amazing things in my life.
