I got one of these, $106 total. It’s a great budget saw, I needed to replace the fuel gasket (moan gasket repair kit in plumbing at HD has 4 gaskets for $6, 2 of which fit the gas cap perfectly), and I added a metal washer on the outside of the plastic behind the tensioning screw, just so it doesn’t eat into the plastic with repeated tightening but I’ve run it 20+ hours and feel it’s paid for itself already.

It's a good saw for the price .I work on saws every day was a stihl dealer for 30 years and I can say I bought this saw to test it's what I do in the outdoor power equipment world or the Hunting world i test for the best . This saw cost 100 bucks . The bar chain and sprocket is worth 75 then u have a carb a sparkplug screws nuts . Just the parts are worth 100 bucks. But believe it or not the saw is strong and runs great .. I was surprised .. pro Hunter Chris Cordell .. you can't go wrong . The man in the video worried about the safety brake the hell with that it's mane function is if your holding the saw right if u get kick back the safety will stop the blade . . For a 100 years they never put a safety on a saw just man up and think when using this isn't a toy it can kill u .. Buy the saw be happy you can't go to any store and buy a saw this good under 300 .

I'm gonna order one & do what I did with my other small 2 stroke China engine. Take the engine apart/cylinder head off (it was full of factory aluminum dust & a couple casting burrs) clean all the dirt out. Use my dremel & remove any castings/obstructions & do a light port/polish job, lightly lube with 2 stroke oil & put back together. For break-in do about 3 heat cycles, let get fully warm at idle, once fully warm rev a bit to 1/2 throttle, let cool completely. Restart, idle, fully warm, rev some more, let cool completely. 3rd start fully warm, rev to full throttle a few times. If everything sounds good, let fully cool. After that 4th start, use normally/start cutting til out of gas. 2nd tank switch to 40:1 or whatever it calls for. My other engine, some say uses 40:1 others say 32:1 . It's a clone of an old 32:1 engine (oil wasn't as good back then) But I still go 32:1 to 35:1 because a little extra lubricating oil is way better than too little oil.

I bought the 25cc “chain saw” version and it starts 2 pulls never an issue. I put a 14” Oregon bar and new chain and cut 12 in logs no issue. We cut 10 cords every year for firewood and needed to use something light for smaller trees and I am not disappointed at all with it. I also have a Jon Cutter 58cc it is a work horse been through prob 40 cords easy and never an issue. It feels like I am running a Husky has power only Thing is it is a heavy saw.

That's not a Stihl chainsaw knockoff. It has a short cylinder design. It's really a copy of Japanese brand called Zenoah, owned by Husqvarna. They make a 52cc and 45cc model. You most likely have the 45cc model. It's the best selling model chainsaw in Thailand because of the large chinese made spare parts market.

@@freemansoutdooradventures3152 This is a chinese copy of a japanese chainsaw. The Company is called Zenoah, owned by Husqvarna. There are two engines sizes, 45cc and 50cc, both with 2 piston rings. You have the 1800 watts(2.4hp) version. In Japan, it's rated at 2100 watts(2.8hp). There are two body styles. One looks similar to an ms180. The other, also sold on amazon, has the original look. In Japan it comes with an 18" bar, 530cc fuel tank and 250cc oil tank. They use 50:1 mix, 25:1 with cheap 2 stroke oil. 10w40 is not recommend. The whole design is simple, easy to start and easy to maintain. It has an adjustable Walbro designed carburetor. An 11.5" bar variant, government restricted, is a best seller in Thailand. Huge selection of Chinese parts. A cylinder and piston set cost 12 USD and carburetor 10 USD. In Thailand, where ethonal fuel is mainly used, you can expect 2 to 3 years with only regular diagram (2 USD) replacements. I highly recommend them if you have access to spare parts.

I have similar Chinese copy of Japanese Zenoah G4500, it works without any problem already 3 years. If you want to improve the characteristics of this saw, firstable you must set 12500 - 13000 max. rpm. and put shorter bar ~16 inches. A shorter chain/bar means less mechanical losses. One of the most important things is the chain, it must be high quality like Oregon chisel type. If you do not have a tachometer to adjust the carburetors, it is best to buy one, they are cheap and useful. For example, I use a cheap Chinese tachometer TC-011 for 12 €, it works great.
