This is a great video and teaches the basics well. If there are two more things I could add, I would say: 1. Eye movement plays a huge role in this move. Make sure you focus your eyes on where the audience thinks the coin is, not where it actually is. Do not look at the hand that's palming the coin, or the audience will look there too. 2. A variation of the coin grab is using only your finger tips. Most lay people would grab a coin with the tips of their fingers, not a fist, so it can make the illusion look a lot more natural.

I follow with a hand washing then a transfer to back thumb grip then a re production from a JW..but I'm not doing a JW , just the standard reveal after a JW between the left index and thumb as the right hand does the slide reveal. Then do a finger palm vanish then a change over palm aquitment to show both hands front and back then a reproduction from out the nose. I'm working on the variation french drop where I show the coin between the index and thumb in right hand then retention drop it in left hand. I feel a sleight pivot at downward angle to the left palm gets me ready for the tilt back as coin is supposedly drop in left hand. Like you mentioned the thumb barely releases the coin. I'm the variation the coin is shown being dropped with left hand giving partial cover to the palm of right , but just barely because you want to show the retention of the coin leaving the right hand and timing the left's take a movement away. Could you do a video of the variation french drop to show timing on it. I'm still practicing he routine before I ever perform it for real. Thanks Asad.

I have a little tip! Haha (im a beginner but accidentally found this out while filming myself because i was like wtf that looked really good 😂) you talk a littlebit about taking the coin and picking it up at the same time AND before you let the coin fall you really take it with your left hand for a sec and the viewer sees it and then you pretend you did something wrong with „oh wait lets do it like this …“ take the coin back to your right hand and then let it fall in your hand and them it looks so f king real there isnt any option that its still in ur right hand 😂
